Yeah, Campbell is gone. How long do you think he takes his other team to the superbowl? Rich Gannon, Trent Green, and Brad Johnson....................Now, Jason Campbell. I'm thinking that unkown team is Arizona and its going to take him two years.

What a shocker. I can't even grasp all of this. I used to think McNabb was overrated. I came around and think he's a pretty damn good asset.

Now, for the Skins, I don't really know what to think here. Does he renogiate his contract? He's only good for 2010. Did we give up a 2nd and a 3rd/4th rounder for 1 year? I would think not. I think McNabb has several good years left in him. I think i've got to reserve judgement to see if we have him more than 1 year.

He immediately makes us better. We still don't have an oline. We are still missing some key pieces. We still need to build thru the draft, but we don't have really any picks left besides #4. Hmmm...

Good question...do we pay for a new contract? We better after giving up a 2nd-rounder.

If no cap...no problem...if anyone can afford him, it's us.

Yes, we better after giving up 2 picks for a one year rental. How long of a contract? 3 years. Not too many QB's perform well in their late 30's. Yes, of course Favre and Warner, but it's a real short list.

^^I posted this last night on like the fourth page about LaRon and Albert being used as trade bait for this trade.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

I gotta go update my roster. I've never played with McNabb as my QB before...

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

Or now do the skins go Dez in the draft? and get a OT with the JC trade?

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

I just hope Larry Johnson, Donovan McNab, & Willie Parker dont turn out to be Trung Canidate, Jeff George, and TJ Duckett.

Im soooooooooooooooo trying to be optomistic but it sure seems like we are doing the same things we have done for years.

And i know D-Mac is wayyyyyyy better that George.

Won't be available. Osackpo is going to end his career by then.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

Mark Schlreth said something that I was thinking as well....John Elway did not win a SB until he got a consistent running game behind him and a good defense. In Philly under Reid/McNabb they were very one dimensional. Very little to no running game. That is a lot of pressure to put on a QB when defenses can cheat to defending the pass and not worry about the run.
If Shanahan can create an effective running game behind McNabb it could be a very good situation for all Redskinsland.

It isn't if Shanny will create an effective running game, it is when...
