Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Like TO would say. The Colts have 28 million reasons to let him go.

Beck is awful and gives us no chance to win. But he's a good guy and at least understands the system enough to hang around and help out until the end of the preseason

But I actually think he's one of the better backups in the league. As bad as we thought Rex was, a couple weeks of Beck changed that. The difference between the two was obvious. If Rex was the Bears backup they probably make the playoffs and Angelo keeps his job. I have no problem bringing back Rex as a backup behind a clear #1 QB. If Rex is the starter... |

:frusty:I understand the love for RGIII, but I think we all have to understand something, no way does MS go into next season with just RGIII or Crompton and RGIII. I don't think any of us would want that either. So "IF" Grossman and Beck are both gone which I think most of us would want.... then some other "VET" will have to be brought in, preferably one that will not cost us draft picks or trading of players. Atleast for me. So figure on a FA QB possibly being brought in, and a Drafted QB being brought in. Maybe I'm just using too much common sense. |

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
That's why we should have given him a game action test drive in December, even just a quarter or a half of action.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Alright mini-thread. Lets take bets on who will be the shiny new QB next season. My heart wants RGIII but my mind says Ryan Tannehill.
Anyone else care to guess?
