Re: Skins hawks game day thread
They owned us because we don't sustain an offensive drive after those 2 TDs in the 1st quarter. Had we the offence we had the last 7 games, this wouldn't of gotten out of control. Leaving your defense on the field for more than half the game, there's no way you win. I can't blame the defense too much, they got worked all game.

Re: Skins hawks game day thread
Have to second that, had no expectations of this team being in the playoffs, especially after a 3-6 start, and this was a 'rebuilding' year. Only concern is RGIII's knee, and will he be back to 100% next year. If you think about the players that were out this season, Orakpo, Davis, Carricker, Merriweather, which is at least four starters, they overcame a lot. When they got up 14-0 it was amazing, truly sucks to watch it all unravel, but this was playing with house money. With another decent off season the Skins should be the favorites to win the NFC east again. Hopefully our QB is not banged up come playoff time next year. I truly hope we meet this Seahawk a##holes again and stomp'em next year.

Re: Skins hawks game day thread
Well... it was a great season, quite a turnaround from last year. Shitty way to end it, but let's just hope RG3 is good to go for 2013. Easy to second guess the decision to put RG3 back in for the 2nd half, but it is what it is. HTTR.

Re: Skins hawks game day thread
So we're ignoring the 3rd and 12 that the Seahawks converted when we were up 14-0, the 28 yard run up the middle we allowed to Wilson, the two times we started inside our own 10 yard line...and chalking the loss up to arrogance? Oh ok

ˆˆ and the fact we're facing an excellent pass defense certainly was an absolute non factor!

Yes. Our defense held Seattle to only 24 points. They are to be commended. Sticking with an obviously hurt rg3 lost us the game.

Re: Skins hawks game day thread
We didn't score 1 point after the 4th quarter and Griffin could not throw the ball because of his knee. Its on the coach to pull him out of the game. He couldn't step into his throws that why everything was sailing high. Just hope the knee is alright. All things considered I thought the D played fairly well.

Re: Skins hawks game day thread
RGIII's health is more important to me than this loss now. We are on the right (war)path and had a hell of a ride for 7 weeks. Hail, going into next season as reigning NFC East Champions!
