no offense Rexi, but if Lloyd pulled back in San Fran, it's because it was San Fran. that crap won't stand for long here.
You want a WR who 'pulls back'? What happens when you need him to get the tough yards in a certain situation and he alligator arms a ball or he does catch it and jumps on the ground as soon as a DB gets close? If I were you I would want that trash off of my team ASAP.

i tried reason, but you're just being irrational now. i just said IF what you said is true, it will either be worked out of him, or he won't be here long.

if i were you, i'd pick any other team in the league to obsess about 'pulling back' than the SF 49ers. I don't know how those players get up in the morning.

Let's just let the results on the field settle this ridiculous matter.

Re: B Lloyd - I'm starting to despise this worthless piece of trash

I watched the Cincy game again to check out the first string offense, and I hate to admit it, but it did look like Lloyd could've caught that skinny post in stride and taken it to the house. Also, that time Brunell went deep and overthrew him. Well, it looked like if Lloyd had lept like he did on that first catch, he actually could've got to that ball. I dunno if Rexi got me paranoid, but I watched the plays again and again. By the way, why is Randle El our #3 guy right now? I don't think he'll be #3 for that long.

Why would you even think twice about anything that Rexi said? Pick a point any point and I will flatten it.

I'm not saying he slowed down or anything. He just leapt when he could have kept running. Watch it. He hung in the air for a bit.

Jacobs won't even hit the field for them.

I hope the niners checked Jacobs' liver or whatever friggin' organ it was that kept him out for two years.

I know two body parts that he does not have...

I've watched Lloyd's diving catch a few times, and I'm sorry but I don't see any way he could have caught that in stride. The ball was clearly overthrown.

The mistake would have been trying to do too much with that ball. It was a phenomenal catch and and any complaint about it is simply unrealistic. Only a handfull of receivers could have made that play.

Re: B Lloyd - I'm starting to despise this worthless piece of trash

I think some of the people who are criticizing Lloyd for diving when he should have kept running probably have never themselves dove for a ball. As you're streaking down the field with the ball in the air you have a limited window of opportunity. You have to be on the balls of your feet to leap. As your running you have to time the jump point with the trajectory of the ball. Try doing this when the ball is in the air and you have to find it with a defender covering you. Not to mention, speaking from experience, when you land chances are your elbow hits first which drives your shoulder up into the socket or you have a decent chance of knocking the wind out of you if you land low on the chest.

Again, if you criticize a receiver for purposefully diving to make a catch with a defender on him, you more than likely have never done it yourself to have made that statement.
