Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
I think of it this way. CP seems like the chillest dude in the entire world. Hell I HAVE met the guy in his house and I can tell you he is totally chill. Even on Sunday's when he is throwing down for us you never see him get angry. The only emotions he shows are joy and "psyched". So for him to actually get livid is an indication of how much crap BMitch gives him.

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
Portis essentially said that teams do not respect our passing attack, they stack the box to stop Portis, and backs from other teams with other passing attacks, non-patchwork olines, and other schemes wouldn't do as well as he has in D.C. You've made statements that seem to concur wholeheartedly with Portis' comments.

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
I think if you understand Portis and his personality that what he said wasn't that offensive and the media took it out of context. I'm glad he blasted BMitch. I get sick of him trashing his let's trash "Skin pick of the week".

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
I get how CP is. And I understand that it was taken a little out of context, and I think BMitch runs his mouth too much. But if CP thinks that there are no running lanes because teams don't respect the passing game then fine. I actually agree with him. But don't throw your QB and wr's under the bus to the media. Keep that crap in house.

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
LOL! He'd actually have to know of your existences and what you said for that to be true. But, for the record, I don't believe Portis was saying anything untrue. Hopefully after this past week, teams will start respecting our passing attack more, which in turn, will open up holes for both Portis and Betts.

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
Local media needs to dump B-Mitch. Everytime I try to listen to him he has nothing to say positive about the Skins. They could win a game and he would find the only negative to point out. I no longer watch or listen to anything that has him on it.
The thing that pisses me off more is the fact that he used to be a Skin and can't find a positive. Dear Mitch....go back to Philli where we sent you packing to since you love them so much. See Ya! |

low and behold portis' comments as made known to us were taken out of context and the reporter was the one who started the whole "hypothetically speaking if you were on another team" etc crap. just another reporter trying to make up something juicy by leading portis down the whole 'hypothetically speaking" road . . . . portis should be mad if people take shots at him when they didnt listen to the whole interview and read his answer in context to the idiotic questions he was being asked. go skins!! |

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
BM calls out CP on the radio. CP says BM should say something to his face, off-air. Then, BM argues CP should do the same, which is invalid, because BM is the one dissing CP on-air to begin with.
BM knocks CP on the radio, and CP is wrong to call the show, and let the world know how he feels? CP doesn't have a radio show, so he calls up the show, and let's everyone who's listening know how he feels. Nothing wrong with that.

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
What? So, BM never called out CP before that? Whatever. CP is sick of hearing BM disrespect him on the radio, so he called up to let everyone know how he feels.

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
F*** Brian Mitchell and the John Thompson show. "Bitch Mitchell" is a self-righteous, flip-floppin' clown. I could care less that the guy is second in all time all purpose yards...he acts like he never got tired or winded. The fact is if every redskin played like Clinton Portis noone would beat us. I've seen him LEVEL guys like Shawne Merriman and Mathias Kiwanuka. As far as I'm concerned If your line is playing like a bunch of potato sacks, call them out!! (See Peyton Manning.) His comments last week clearly inspired these guys. However I am under the impression that it was taken out of context and he was more or less referring to our offensive scheme in recent years as opposed to the play of his teammates.
