Colt as backup is probable in the next two years anyway. The thing is if we draft a QB late this year or somehow go after Mallet or Keenum next year, then who knows. I don't see Brennan being here once Donovan goes though.

Looks like the Raider nation is accepting JC with ecstatic open arms. They're acting like they just got Dan Marino.

Well Campbell is much better than anything they have in there.

I wish him the best and I hope he succeeds.

When a team is ecstatic about getting JC it tells you how bad off they are.

I'll be rooting for Jason and hope he becomes a winner with the Raiders...until they play the Redskins! BTW, the Redskins took the deal and the low choices as a favor to JC.

The results of Jason's career thus far has been one of a kind. Hope he finds success out west. Good luck Jason, there are some people here in DC that will miss you.

Re: Campbell A Raider

As far as why '12, I think Mooby nailed it. This was about a possible lockout in the future and the Redskins didn't want to box themselves in with so much uncertainty regarding the future of the CBA.

Look, what got what we got for the guy and it's time to move on. The market was all around unkind to a lot of guys this year, not just Jason. Ask Jimmy Clausen and Colt McCoy.

I wish JC well, he's a class act and a good young man. But, I don't think JC will have much success at Oakland. Anyone who watched Campbell closely, knows his deep ball accuracy is one of the "thorns in his side" (along with other issues we've ).

If the Raider Nation thinks this guy is their savior....God help 'em.

He may not be their savior but he beats the heck out of starting JaMarcus.
