Re: It's Donovan's F-ing Homecoming Week
That article gave me "hope", a dangerous and powerful emotion that clouds the voice of reason.

Re: It's Donovan's F-ing Homecoming Week
We can win this. How? That is the coaches responsibility to find a way to pressure on Vick. Vick will get some yards there is no stopping that. Lets just hope that we can keep it close and he makes some bad throws and we pick him off a couple of times. We win this and our head go back up. Then we could win 2 or 3 of the next 4 games. We should be 3 and 0 just as easy as we could be 0 and 3.

Is it better to pressure or play a contain style D with Vick? Certainly he can hurt you running, but he still misses throws. I guess I am certain we will throw all sorts of stunts and blitzes at the Eagles, but I think this is a game you play straight up, and let him make the mistakes, which I feel positive he will.

That said, if he developed pocket presence and poise under Fat Andy and friends, he's practically unstoppable. That's assuming the OL(his center) doesn't blow it, though. All I'm hoping is that we win in a shootout.

Re: It's Donovan's F-ing Homecoming Week
I see Michael Vick getting over 100 yards rushing in this game, and sadly, we will probably lose this one by at least 10 points.

Re: It's Donovan's F-ing Homecoming Week
After the effort, or lack thereof, that we put forth last week, I expect us to come out fired up and bring Vick back down to earth. I expect a "W" out of this game.

Re: It's Donovan's F-ing Homecoming Week
The defense really needs to shore things up, and the offense needs to start turning those FGs into TDs. Honestly I'm not very confident about this game but I think we'll keep it close. Eagles 24 Skins 20

Keep your fingers crossed on Trent, if he can't go I really don't like our chances

Re: It's Donovan's F-ing Homecoming Week
Not surprisingly, Shanahan has said Portis will start on Sunday. Though I do expect Torain to get significant carries.
Doesn't look like Anthony Bryant will play though. Wonder if they'll finally start giving PD more reps in the middle. Or might they re-sign Howard Green?

Re: It's Donovan's F-ing Homecoming Week
I have become a bit more pessimistic every week. My negative attitude says the Skins lose this one, 20-17. They score a late TD to make it closer than it appears. I have a hard time believing the D can stop Vick and Jackson, when Bradford and Clayton gave them so much trouble. Hasslet hasn't shown ability to make in game adjustments. I am hoping I'm wrong tho!
