Last year ARE had 102 yards on 17 punt returns in 16 games.

Yesterday, Banks had 75 yards on 3 returns.

As I figured would happen, Randel El looks great on the Steelers again.

Brandon Lloyd is tearing up the league too.

ARE looks good? i thought he had like 2 total catches going into yesterdays game for 20 something yards and like 5-6 yards a punt return with 6 fair catches already.

His numbers aren't huge, but he's making big-time athletic catches in key situations...something he didn't do much for us.

Definitely like Banks back there for the big play ability, but when we're backed up I liked that Buchanon was out there.

I like how McNabb beat both Vick and Kolb in his first outing vs. the Eagles. LOL

Good point, don't forget about Reid too. And the end of the day he's the one that's left to clean up the mess.

Ross Tucker made a good point on Twitter about McNabb. Many Iggles fans complained about McNabbs health, yet he's been fine while both Kolb and Vick have been out with injuries.

I give Mike Shanahan mad props for getting Portis out of the "entitled" attitude he's developed over the last few years here. 2009 Portis would not have done all those jukes and stuff to get the first down.

The defense held it's own. I liked the game plan and effort from the players. This 3-4 switch can work for them. Wilson with the FF, Alexander covered well, Orakpo still getting held rushing the passer...

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Game - Positives

Those holding calls are as good as sacks. Rak only has 2 sacks on the year, but I would guess he's drawn at least 6 holding calls.

He's just so fast and strong coming off the edge. He's a handful for most tackles.

yeah i would not be surprised at all if he is the most held player in the first four weeks of the season. that would be a great stat if anyone could find that.

Kudos to Clinton Portis for playing though pain and really making some impressive moves out there. For awhile I thought my trigger buttons weren't working.

Yeah, he's looked VERY good this year, when in the game. He just needs to stop getting nicked up.
6.3 yds/carry in Week 3, 5.0 yds/carry in Week 4.

Looks fast again, breaking nice gainers with a longs of 18, 12, 27 and 11 yards in each of this year's games.

If we can use Torain and Williams to limit CP's carries and keep him healthy, he'll be very effective and productive.
