Re: Black Ops
They released a matchmaking patch yesterday. A noticeable difference.
Spawning is so wack in the game though and they will never fix it.

I know this is being nitpicky but I kinda wish COD had destructible environments too. There are spots on maps that are always camped at, and nothing would be better than to see walls destroyed, buildings blown up, and a changing environment that players would have to adapt to. PS I'm tired of the spawn camping. The in game spawning is horrible too, I'm getting really tired of spawning and then an opponent spawns right behind and kills me right as I'm running away from the spawn point.

Re: Black Ops
Kind of off topic, but The Nuketown Map is my favorite in the game. I love 1950's nostalgia and especially nuclear stuff. Also the mannequins make me think of the game "Condemned", another fave of mine.
I play against bots in Multiplayer, and they are very challenging and rewarding. Also bots dont whine or complain over the headset, and they don't quit when it looks like they are about to lose. If Bots are kept in with the next COD game, then i have found my new way to play...

Re: Black Ops
I agree Solid. Nuketown is pretty sick. The smaller of all the maps creats more action. There are still a couple of camping spots but it is still pretty wide open. Nuketown is my number one. Next would be Launch and I forget the name but it's the one with the snow and the big satellite dishes.
My favorite gun is the Stoner ! Properly named for a guy like myself !!!!

Re: Black Ops
Do they have Hardcore Team Deathmatch in COD Black Ops? I used to play the regular team deathmatch and it became annoying as hell in MW2. I hope they have it in Black Ops.

Re: Black Ops
Nuketown is stupid IMO. It's the easiest map in the game. All you have to do is stay in the back(flowerbed on one side and shed on the other) and you can control the spawns.
If you run around Rambo-style, you won't win the game if you are playing people who understand spawning.

Re: Black Ops
Yes they have HTDM in Black Ops, if that's your cup of tea.

Re: Black Ops
In fact they have a lot more game modes compared to MW2, including gambling matches called "wager matches". Just search for a review on the web, but overall the game types are a huge upgrade over MW2.

Re: Black Ops
I liken Nuketown to Rust in MW2. It's a rush. Not to play every time but it's different from the state size maps the game offers outside of it.

I hated Rust it was just lets run each other then all die respawn then run at each other and die again. Rinse wash repeat no skill. Every multiplayer has these maps on Halo right now it is swords base everyone ones to this one room and floks just keep killing each other.

Re: Black Ops
But what's wrong with that ? I mean it's a video game. You have to have some kind of relentless fun every once in a while.
