Yeah, that was a bad call. It shows that they can get things wrong even with replay.

Not a big fan of instant replay. I never can quite celebrate any play, without the fear that it could be called back. Not very fun and who benefits? No one. Last edited by polywog; 09-12-2011 at 11:17 AM. |

Well, except for the team that has a incorrect call against them.

Yeah, its absolutely ridiculous -- they basically clothesline him all game and he never gets a call. I hope Shanny puts a tape together and sends it to the league office.

It happens to every single pass rusher in the league. Guy needs to adapt and change his game up instead of using that one move. Otherwise, he's just going to digress. Still haven't seen him use a swim move or a spin move to this day.

Yeah he was clotheslined a few times, par for the course for him. Can't believe it doesn't get called more because it's so blatant.

Extend that to the whole D-Line and you'll be dead by half. In the play just before Eli was called for grounding there was a hold so blatant that I was livid. Good thing the grounding came a few plays later and the Giants drive broke down. |

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Giants at Redskins)
Im not sure if this has been mentioned but i was kind of like what the hell happened when Paul and Banks had a little bit of a mis communcation after a Gaints punt.
We had the Giants pined deep and they had to punt it out of their endzone so the punter had to kick it as far as he could and didnt really have the option to kick it away from Banks or out of bounds. It would of been nice if Banks was able to run it back but him and Paul kind of both acted like they didnt know what to do. Its great seeing teams scared to kick it to Banks but they have to make the most of his chances when he has them.
