This may be RG3's & Morris's first true 'welcome to the NFL' game.. I'm thinking 31-17 Giants.
Honestly, I have the expectation that Eli will hang 300+ on us, and probably 3-4 TD's but that doesn't equate to us necessarily losing anymore. And I also think our D will pick him 2x's, that Morris will find some running, and that Griffin will hang 300+ combined yards on them. Probably the biggest shock to me will be if either team is held under 24 points and 350+ offensive yards.

I'm expecting both offense to have very good production. It will come down to defense. Whoever has the ball for the final possession will win the game? I'm not sure what's going to happen or how this game will play out. Hopefully the Redskins win and take sole possession of the NFC east.

Quite surprised by the Skins win against Minnesota. Very high character performance all-around. With that said, the Giants will win Sunday, not because we are terrible, but they are just a more complete team at this point.

I think he's here anyway but this is his biggest game and I believe a win would win him over with all the fans that don't like him.

Re: Skins @ Giants - Predictions

I'm hopeful that we will see something Sunday that we haven't seen all year, the Redskins playing good defense for four quarters. That doesn't necessarily mean shutting down Eli completely but 3 turnovers and 4 sacks would be enough. I'm looking for a big game from Alfred Morris, Santana Moss and Fred Davis. And oh yeah, I expect the rookie to continue making a name for himself.

The skins don't do well against the giants at home either... Prior to last year, they had a five game losing streak at home against the giants.

Re: Skins @ Giants - Predictions

The Giants have lost to the Cowgirls and Iggles but have won 2 in a row and are coming off a big win away against the Niners. The Redskins haven't won 2 in a row since Sept. 2011. I think the Giants are feeling pretty good about themselves after last weeks win and will underestimate our offense having not played us this year. It's time to win 2 in a row and the Shannahans realize how big a win this would be for us. I think we come out fired up with a good gameplan.
Redskins - 37
Giants - 24

Re: Skins @ Giants - Predictions

Based on the first 6 games, the Skins apparently need to score 40 points to win. I don't think the Skins can score 40 points against the Giants defense, so our defense really needs to rise up and keep the score down versus the Giants.

I think we may have a chance for an early interception of Eli Manning because Eli tends to start slow. After the 1st Qtr Eli isn't likely to turn it over and in the 4th Qtr Eli is truly a world beater, so we need to have the lead going into the 4th Qtr. If we do have the lead in the 4th Qtr, RGIII may be able to match Eli score for score.

It helps us that Bradshaw is out because their other backs just might cough up a fumble for us. We're going to need to get two turnovers and convert them to at least 10 points to win.

I think the Giants pass rush will get to RGIII at least 3-4 times and he may turn the ball over once. We'll need to have a balanced attack and stick with the running game throughout, with at least modest success, or the Giants pass rush will be all over RGIII. I think we need for Alfred Morris to shine in this game. I also think we'll see more of Ryan Grant in this game and he will help us.

One thing that could kill us this week is poor punting. If Sav Rocca can't go or if he plays and punts poorly due to injury, we could be toast.

Again, if we're behind after three quarters, I think we'll be in trouble. If not, then we've got a chance to see RGIII perform some more magic to get us the win.

Eli Manning versus RGIII in the 4th Qtr with the game on the line could be a treat for all fans of NFL football.
