Aye. Our soupy Defense and Secondary held that team to thirteen points for the better part of three quarters. We would have run up the score if Robert had simply been able to move like he did that first drive, and our D hadn't run out of steam.

And we would have run the table in the playoffs all the way to the Superbowl.

And as for the post-game interview that also has everyone's knickers in a knot ... I thought it was outstanding. I love the way Robert stands tall with the truth.

We haven't even seen the beginning of what's possible with him at the helm.

For Gaea's sake, for the first time in forever we can say there's next season and KNOW it to be true.

People need to calm down.

I hope RG3's dad stays healthy for many many more years, not just until training camp.

Everybody is talking about Griff, but nobody is talking about Cousins. You know - the guy we drafted in the fourth round to back up RG-3 in case he gets hurt. The guy who came into what might as well have been another playoff game against Baltimore, cold off the bench, and saved the day. The guy who went on the road and lit up the Browns in what would be considered another must win. Yet for some reason, wasnt good enough last nite, against what appeared to be a terribly unprepared defense and a 14 point cushion? Was KC late for a meeting or something? Spare me every bit of either of them claiming Griff gives them the better option. To say that the Griff after that td pass to Paulsen is better than KC is a complete insult to KC. Again if Joe Webb or Jon Beck is our backup - oh well. That situation last nite was taylor made for showing why we drafted not one, but two qb's in the draft. Will never, ever understand why KC didnt get in.

Punch It In, you do have a point, but when Cap'n Kirk did go in, he went 4-11 (or was it 10?) and something like 30-odd yards. Can we PLEASE give the Number 1 defense in the league some credit here, too?

The Seahawks aren't the Browns.

And I'm sorry, I have no problem with Shanahan giving the guy who carried the team to the playoffs the opportunity to try and work it out through the pain and find a way to win. I just don't.

That said, screw the 'Hawks now. I like Wilson and can't even root for him any more because of how dirty those effers played last night. They have been upgraded to Cowpoke- and Iggles-level hate. Eff them.

By the time Kirk got in it was way too late, you cant go there, there was no hope at that point, not to mention the bad snaps he got and extreme pressure in his face
So if Grif misses 2013 your still ok with this?

They were only down ten. There were 7 minutes left on the clock. I don't buy that there wasn't any hope, and think it's a disservice to the facts when we ignore just how good their Defense is.

They are NOT the Browns.

I don't think that happens. I think at this point no one knows. I think at this point everyone is assuming the worst, and it's magnified because they lost.

But let's just assume it's the worst for the sake of argument. Adrian Peterson blew out his knee at FedEx on 24 December 2011 and everyone wrote him off as done. Yet these type of injuries aren't what they were ten years ago and Robert's work ethic is just as intense and serious as Peterson's, so I see no reason why he can't recover completely and be back next season the same as Peterson.

So yes, I'm fine with it.

Thats why I thought there was no hope,to expect cousins to come in and that late and expect him to pull it out would be a miracle, but then you qoute his stats like they meant something, they were meaningless. He had bad snaps, dropped passes, intense pressure.

Ah, okay, you came to a different conclusion from the same point.

My bad.

I already hated them because of the previous two playoff wins over us, plus last year's dirty game. Just add another log onto the fire.

I work with a Seattle fan too.

Saw that. Oh boy!! There's going to be some serious explanations that need addressing.

I wouldn't trust anything until someone credible like one of the local sports beat guy or Schefter/Mort/Clayton tweets about it.

Then there's these types of opposite, optimistic reports.
Quote:
Robert Griffin III will fly down to Pensacola on Tuesday for an MRI with Dr. James Andrews.
Andrews will make a "full evaluation" of Griffin's knee, which was problematic for the final month of the 2012 season. Shanahan otherwise provided no updates. The Redskins sound optimistic that Griffin didn't tear any knee ligaments, but he clearly aggravated his prior LCL sprain and will need plenty of rest time. Jan 7 - 3:12 PM

Seriously, no one knows yet and we shouldn't listen to anyone but his actual doctors.

Lets stop throwing out Chicken Little rumors because someone has a Twitter account or gets their mug on ESPN.

We just have to wait...no reason to panic until we have facts.
