One of the....many things that have impressed me about Robert from the start has been his absolutely....Fearless attitude.
Seems unshakable.

I just remember the ESPN special about RG3's recovery and his mother saying that God said great things are yet to come or something like that, he's going to shut a lot of doubters up this year.

Mine is just a predication. I most definitely want the Skins to win by 100 but I think I could see this being a upset. Any given Sunday(Monday).

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
I feel that the skins will activate Pat White for Eagles game and he will be involved in some type of gadget/wildcat play, similar to how the Jets used Brad Smith.

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
The Eagles only advantage, IMO, is the element of surprise. Chip Kelly will pull some weird stuff. If it's enough to throw us off our game, then we could have a close ballgame. I don't believe it will be, however, especially because of Fletcher running the defense.
Skins 38 - Eagles 7 Eagles turn the ball over early and often and can't get into the flow of Kelly's gameplan.

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
I have gone back and forth on Kelly. At first, I was pretty sure he wasn't going to be a Spurrier b/c he said the right things initially about working hard and understanding that the NFL is different. Since then, I think more and more he is playing lip service to the second part and is operating under the same fallacy as Spurrier was - all he has to do is coach'em up a bit and his system, with a tweek here and there, will transfer to the NFL.
I don't think he is Spurrier bad but I could easily see him pulling a Petrino or N. Saban. He may work hard, but I just don't see him as a leader/motivator of men (not college guys). Sure, he works hard, but it seems he is working hard to prove his system will work. Like Spurrier, he went out and got a bunch of his college guys to plug into his system. It seems to me he is thinking, as Spurrier did, "My system will make up for their talent deficiencies." I think he is in for a huge fall and the team that remains in Philly doesn't have a Brian Dawkinsesque guy to keep them together.

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
Either way, it'll be fun to watch the Redskins do to the Eagles what they did to us (59 points) back in 2010. 28 points in the first Quarter in 'Thug Bowl'.

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
I fully expect us to beat the dogs**t out of them. I think our defense has been practicing things that will totally stop the Iggles offense from getting into any kind of rythem whatsoever. Cofield and our LBers will play like rabid dogs and as Joe said, Robert is gonna shine....and he has the motivation and talent around him to do it. My son-in-law (bastard) trying to raise my grandson to be an Iggles fan? I can't wait til Monday night!!!
