Re: Around the NFL week 15
The winner of the NFC east will have at least .500 record. The Seahawks won the Divison at 7-9 I believe.

I was thinking the other day about crappy players (Joe piece-of-crap Flacco) and think, "Wow, I'm glad he's not MY QB." but I was 10 years old when I watched the last Redskins Super Bowl win. Even if the QB is a total flash in the plan, I want another one (or multiple ones) as an adult so I can fully enjoy it.

Re: Around the NFL week 15
This hit was brutal. Not sure why it didn't draw a flag, but I'm almost certain he'll be seeing a fine next week.

Re: Around the NFL week 15
Broke the punters jaw. Completely unnecessary. I hope he has to write a 6 digit check.

Re: Around the NFL week 15
I must say that I will never get enough of watching Romo's late 'anti' heroics in December. I don't care if the INTs were his fault, the receivers fault...no matter. I Friggin' LOVE IT!

What got me was: open field, crown of the helmet right on the chin, standing up, right in front of where the runner was going. And no officials on the field saw it. I know they can't see everything but geez.

Re: Around the NFL week 15
Actually it wasn't a legal hit, the refs just didn't throw the flag on it. A missed call.

It looks as if he is launching himself against a player using the hairline of his helmet. That is against rule 12, section 2, article 8. Plus punters and kickers are considered "defenseless players" at all times following a kick/punt. So that means you can not lead with your helmet against them, unless they are carrying the ball. That is rule 12, section 2, article 9. Both rules fall under unnecessary roughness and should be a 15 yard penalty, plus the possibility of a fine.
