Yeah well after the jags and birds game there was obviously reason to believe so. Good games = hope. Horrible games = no hope. Seems fairly logical from where I stand. Problem is that Griff has two things that make you wonder if he is the guy. His health and his performance. Unfortunately at this point neither of those is a sure thing. At this point the season is over and Colt winning a game or two does nothing for me, it just means we move back a spot or two in the draft. |

Use the pick we get in the trade to use to build depth at any one of the unlimited holes on this team. *there is no way in hell any team is offering higher than a 4th rounder. P.s. I liked cousins coming out of the draft even before we got rgiii. I was mistaken.

Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
I would bring back Casserly back as GM, promote BA to VP.

Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
1) Kirk Cousins is who SmootSmack thought he was. He just fooled the rest of us!
2) I'd rather see Colt McCoy at this point. But honestly, I'm about ready to tune out until RGIII is back on the field. 3) 20 years of losing - and Dan Snyder has owned the team for about 15 of those years. If you can't figure it out within 15-20 years, you have no business being in the football business. 4) I hate the gold pants. Hate them! Bring back the burgundy pants and white tops. The great Redskins teams I knew growing up wore those unis week in and week out. 5) I like lists! 6) This team won't be winners until we have a competent front office. From the owner down to the position coaches. I'm not saying we have the wrong folks in every position, but we have the wrong folks in the front office. Keep Bruce as a money/contract man and nothing else. 7) Move the team out of Maryland. Let Maryland have its Ravens - the Redskins don't belong in Maryland. 8) I used to be so optimistic to the point of it being sickening. Not anymore. I see no light at the end of the tunnel unless some major changes happen within the next season or two. I mean something dramatic. 9)I wished I had access to every game the Redskins played during the 1980's. I'd rather watch those games on Sunday in place of what the product gives us nowadays. I honestly think even the games I'd watch them lose would be better quality effort than what I see nowadays. 10) I'm not sure what else to say that hasn't already be said. I just couldn't end on an odd number.

Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
The season is over so there's no sense sticking McCoy in there he might win a couple of games but he's not the future.
Teams and fans are too quick to give up on quarterbacks nowadays and don't want to give them any time to develop. RG3 had all of last year to try to develop to a pocket passer but everybody is saying he needs more time to be patient. Well Kirk has started four games this year and everybody's already saying get him out of there. well Kirk needs time to develop just like anybody else he needs to stay in the lineup and take his lumps

Case in point Carson Palmer somehow, completes a pass with at least two Redskins d-linemen. Cosins, either goes limp and gets slammed like a rag doll, or throws a horrible pick. If Griffin cannot come back, we may not win another game. |

Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
Yeah I do want Colt in there. Kirk's potential value as trade bait goes down with every game he plays.

Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
Cereal! The guy has gone from being worth 3 first round picks all the way down to 2 first round picks. Is it illegal for teams to report fake injuries?

Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
Realistically what do you think we could get for him at this point? I am sure there are several coaches and GMs with big egos that think they can do with KC what the Skins cannot, or do you see him as a valuable back up that teams would be willing to trade to upgrade?

Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
This entire "trade KC talk" is stale. Why is everyone so obsessed about getting a draft pick of KC? Is it because the RG3 trade looks like crap right now? Clev offered a 3rd rounder last year? Would that player be helping this team right now? Probably not. He'd most likely be on the bench like Spencer Long is. KC is what he is right now, a 3rd year guy w/ little starting experience that's not good enough to carry a bad team.

Frankly I'm not worried about his trade value,I want him to get as much experience as he can, when RG3 takes back the starting job it wont be for long because I dont believe he will ever be able to stay healthy, his body was not built for football.
