Moreau was drafted to be a starter on the outside. We can sign an Aaron Colvin type FA or draft a guy to man the slot. Good for Breeland but we can patch that hole.

We'll live through it (Moreau + sign/draft a slot guy) but I would have been ok with having a great secondary. .. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk

We have $21M in cap space remaining. We should not have burned up $8M of it on Breeland when we have a pretty talented guy capable of starting on the ascent. The team is right to pursue Richardson. There are very, very few speed guys on the market who can threaten a defense deep. That's a skill set we flat out didn't have on the roster. But other than that, day 1 free agency is where salary caps go to die. The team is right to be patient and bargain hunt to fill out the rest of the needs. If they don't sign anybody for the rest of this week, it's a good sign. Remember, we got Zach Brown 3 weeks into the process last year and we got him for peanuts. We need 4 or 5 of those signings between now and April 1.

Good for Ryan Grant. Ravens are fools for giving him that kind of money but happy for that guy.

Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018
Watching NFL Networks 10 worst free agent signings of all times. # 1 is the whole Redskins franchise. Lol, and I can't even disagree.
We WERE so bad they're just listing guy after guy after guy. Cold blooded. Man, we are great fans lol. Note - it originally aired in 2013.

Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018
Breeland was off and on, plus his attitude sucked. Not a big loss

Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018
They must really like Roullier at center.
Long was a solid "meh" player to me. I held out hope that he would prove more, but he really was never more than I mostly-competent starter, solid back-up. However, now we need both a starting LG and "mostly-competent starter, solid back-up" interior lineman.

Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018
hopefully they have a plan to beef up the lines, it seems every off-season (almost) lately this FO decides to neglect the lines either JUST enough to hurt us (shreff, allen exceptions) - or completely to the point we have blocking sleds in there....... (last years d-line FA signings.....) i hope they have a friggin plan this time smh

Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018
