Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
I wonder how much Dan Snyder spends on security?
He probably needs to be really careful making sure some nut job doesn't get a chance to snipe him. |

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
As the O-line was awful. The one deep shot to DT was a catch able ball that has to be caught. The execution on the team from one end to the other is unbelievably poor.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
I'm not only blaiming the WR coach, but name me a QB that gets 10-15 seconds to throw the ball? So yes JC is part of the issue. I agree he's a good QB just not a great QB. and yes I agree with you that people will take some time and look at his "Stats" and find some reason to defend him. Even though his throws were most likely dump offs within 5-10 yrds which will pad his stats making him look great. but this is the WCO which is all about short passes and dump offs. So go figure.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
Although it should have been caught it's kinda hard when the defender is grabbing your ankles basically tackling you. The refs blew that call. It was interference. Even the announcers on the radio said it was interference.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
doesn't lack of execution go to preparation and coaching?

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
Ok if you want to think that. If our O could score any points at all in a game we would be 4/1 maybe 5/0. I guess if you think that every D should play like the Ravens did back when they won the SB then you may have a point but to expect that is just crazy. Our D does their job pretty much every game but our O sucks. Yes they SUCK.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
I saw the play and it looked like a fine play by the corner. He was beat and if the ball was thrwn a little better it could have been a TD or long gain. Once again JC throws another long ball just off the mark. Wish I had $100 for everytime that happens but of course this loss is not his fault but everyone else on the O.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
Which is part of why I blame the coach's. Piss poor planning equals piss poor performance. I think it all goes back to their skill level. Zorn has never been a OC or a HC, Sherm Smith has never been an NFL coach he came from the college ranks. Hixon came from the college ranks, I'm not sure who else but you probably could pick apart more staff members.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
Until another QB can step in it's impossible to tell if it's JC. Personally, I feel a lot of it falls on him. I'm watching other QB's around the league and none of them hold on to the ball that long. They also extend the play and don't panic.
The offense today really only put up 3 points. 2 TD's were off turnovers in the redzone. |
