o Trade up for Russell Wilson
o None of the above

Nobody here just a little bit excited about Peyton Manning coming to the Redskins? Been a while since we have had a QB at that level......

It might not even happen. It remains to be seen whether he will heal completely. Plus who knows how long he has left. I only want him if he can come in and contribute immediately and for the next 2-3 years, until we get our next qb in place.

If it was a healthy PM who they didn't want to pay their bonus to, sure. Right now? Eh. If he's healthy, hellyeah I'm excited. There's just way too much misinformation out there right now, so I'm in wait and see mode like everybody else. Nobody knows what the deal is except PM himself.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

Look guys, I appreciate that there are lots of its and buts here and the jury on whether he is fit is still out and there would be few guarantees anyway. But to go from Rex to Peyton is a huge upturn. And there are no knock on effects come the draft.

Manning....Bowe....Reiff....Foles/Weeden (Round 2). Add that to Helu, Davis, Hankerson etc.

Sudenly we don't look so bad on offense......

I'd rather have:

Robert Griffin III
Roy Helu
Evan Royster
Leonard Hankerson
FA WR
Draft WR
Fred Davis
Chris Cooley

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

Yeah all of those ifs, buts, and things that need to fall into place are not even close to happening to this point, so to say I am gitty for PM becoming a Redskin is not quite were we are right now.

Eagerly waiting to see how this offseason and acquisition of players goes before I am gitty,

I find it hard to get excited about someone that will be so obviously temporary.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

I'm starting to get excited about Kyle Orton. Well, not really, but I'd like to see what they could do with ALL their picks and free agency. The Skins could be rock solid at every position BUT QB going into 2013. Then, I wouldn't care how many picks they gave up to land the QB of the future. Orton could be a 20TD 10INT guy. That would have been worth 5 more wins last year, IMHO.

Rock soild at every position except QB? If you don't have a QB you have nothing. Your plan has us throwing away 2012. I would rather be weak in a few areas and very good at QB. Sort of like the Giants, Patriots & Packers...
