Manning/Orton and Tannehill/Cousins looking like currently the most likely combinations. With possibly another QB drafted later in the draft.

But it's still so early
Orton + Tannehill/Cousins = Last Place in 2012 & 2013.

Manning/Tannehill or a trade up are the only options IMO.

I don't think Tannehill or Cousins will be able to start and win at all in 2012 and then in 2013 either one would be essentially a rookie. So basically any winning we do in the next 2 years would likely be put on Orton's shoulders. Orton would be the 4th best QB in the NFC East. It's not enough of an upgrade for me to feel confident. Maybe locking them into last place was over stating it but how much better is Orton then Grossman? I know he's better but in my opinion he's not enough of an upgrade to pair with a rookie who could be a couple years away.

So if I'm understanding you right. Manning/Tannehill is better than Orton/Tannehill because with the former we have a better chance of avoiding the division cellar in 2012 and 2013. But really what you're saying is Manning over the next two years is better than Orton over the next two years? Tannehill is kind of irrelevant to your discussion

It's the willingness to be optimistic because of the incredible talent that PM has shown over the last 10 or so years. At this point he has not shown anything one way or the other.

A couple of tidbit tweets. Should be a lot more info coming in this week.

Steve Young on @SportsCenter thinks Peyton could have possibly already spoken to a perspective new coach to make sure it is a fit. #Redskins

#Redskins coaches back in full effect this am. The five month odyssey (UFA/Draft/OTA) of getting respect and a ring starts full blast today!

Apparently he's shown enough to his doctors to be cleared to play football.

Slithers? Seems like you are not a fan of Peyton. Is there a reason for that?
