Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
Still, we're having offensive problems that haven not gone away overnight and somewhat similar to last year. The offense has a lot of work to do, and making a switch at QB is not the only remedy.

But will AH stay on board long enough. He looked ready to blow a few times, and looked pissed at the end of the game. I just don't know if he will be on board for this thing for the long haul. He could turn into a bigger problem.

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
carter looks way too slow to be playing lb though imo. haynesworth didnt play well. doughty didnt play well. havent noticed any of our down linemen besides haynesworth who didnt play well as i said, but i guess in the 34 you dont notice linemen as much.
thought landry was very good, so were hall and rogers except for his hands of stone at the end. fletcher and rocky were solid i thought. the o-line was very good and moss and cooley did their parts for the most part. portis tried hard but we still need more from the running game, must say his blocking was crucial though. anthony armstrong was disappointing.

Let's also remember guys Dallas has a very good D. Yeah our offense needs work of course, but Dallas had something to do with our struggles too.

I still think he doesn't fit this scheme, actually a lot of players don't. Even still, I think he's a better player than Kemo, Golston, or Carriker. AH needs to play well, so does the team. I say let's make him a starter and let him play.

Agreed, it just struck me how McNabb was able to make things happen when the roof was caving in. He obviously is not the complete answer for success, but I sure as hell like what he can do over his predecessor.

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
Well, we're going against another good defense in the Texans, so we better step up. I think we'll need to pass and take advantage of the Texans secondary if we are to win this game. Also, our run game needs to be better.

Things will improve when Kareem Moore returns.

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
#5 once he gets this thing down is going to be great. We get him that running game, and he has some more time with the WRs and he will dominate at times. Please do not say he is the problem. Hell he is the solution.

don't forget people.... Game would have been won fair and square if CARLOS ROGERS COULD CATCH!! Does he need contacts?? Seriously! On the replay the ball hit his wrist!! It didn't even hit his hands?? So yes... we got lucky on the two plays at the end of the halves... but a cornerback has to catch that INT and the game is over.

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
also...
As soon as we can pass the ball well... and run the ball well... we'll have a good offense! lol
