Yeah but our offense also put up about 3 points tonight, so Joe may get impatient, I hope not tho.

I didn't mean it like he thought Saunders couldn't handle it. Just that I wonder if he missed doing it during a game

Oh. In that case, he probably missed it a bit, but if he continues missing calling the plays he'll probably start suggesting plays more often.

Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Game Thread 8/13/06
The jury is still out on Lloyd, but comparing what he did or didn't do in San Fran is worthless. People seem to forget how down the rest of the league was on Brunell, Portis, and Moss before last season.
How everyone thought our defense was going to get punished when we traded away Champ. How we could never compete with LaVar on the bench, because who the heck are those no-namers on defense anyway. A winning organization with strong leadership has a positive effect on guys like Lloyd. You can't blame him for wanting to be a hot-dogger and rapper during his years with the Niners, after all, his mentor his rookie year was none other than the illustrious T.O.... |

Where the hell was Randle El tonight? I don't think i saw him play during the game. I figured he'd at least return the opening kickoff, but he didn't do that or return any punts either.

The postgame said he was in on both of the plays that ran 3WR sets, but they are not going to have him returning kicks in the preseason (and based on what happened to Portis I don't blame them).

Ah cool i was just wondering whether he was injured or something. That's a good idea to keep him out of the kick returns and such.
