Washington Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int
M. Brunell 14 23 192 60.9 8.3 1 9 1 0

He's a FA or a bench sitter in Fantasy!

I say he's horrible, at best he is below average!

Jason Campbell may not be all that, but he's got a better arm than MB, for sure!

I pulled for Sonny in the Sonny/Billy debate. Gus in the Heath/Gus debate. So, don't go by my choices if you think different.

If you were just flown in from being overseas, I will give you a free pass. If this was some attempt to make a coherent point, you failed miserably.

I am not a Brunell lover on any level and you can see that in my previous points. He was incredible today, if you don't belive me look at the body language on every play in the second half. He was as good as any QB in the league today.

I'm shocked at how easily pleased the people on here are. Seriously, you act like he did something of mythical proportions. It wasn't in Dallas, it wasn't 13 points down with little time to go.

Please watch the game again with a clear head and critque him honestly.

Damn!

Because you're really doing that, right? Please.

You ragged him for going into the fetal position on that sack today. Funny, because I saw Peyton Manning take a sack in the same exact way tonight.

Clear head and honest critique? I really hope you're joking.

Obvously you didn't watch today's game.

How many times in row did we lose to them in November? You know what, I don't care.

This win was so satisfying on so many levels. Anyone who isn't in la la land right now is really missing out.

THANK YOU LORD!

Re: Give Props to Brunell

I voted average.

He made some good throws and they won. His weaknesses were still glaringly on display though, can't handle any pressure (team consultant Ray Brown admitted this in a post-game interview), won't look at the # 2 receiver (Randle EL today), and underthrows the deep route badly.

We did not win this game because of Mark Brunell.

I don't think anyone is trying to say that.

I think we're spending way too much damn time talking about one guy. It's a shame because I thought it was a great team effort. Offense, defense and special teams all did their part today. That's how you win games in this league, not because of one guy.

I felt obligated to start the thread because Brunell has been getting so much crap from people (myself included), that I felt his performance warranted a thread. By no means did I mean to indicate that he played like a Pro Bowler. But, I think he played very well.

The thing is, if we are going to have a thread about a certain players performance on the day, we need to actually discuss all aspects of it. Average is winning the poll and that's a fair assessment IMO. I was thrilled by several throws Mark made in the middle of the field today, but his weaknesses held us back at times once again.

We won, great. Brunell was solid, great. Are we going to need much more out of many of the players (including the QB) than they gave today in order to pile up some wins? Absolutely. We are aren't going to get breaks like we did today every week.

Re: Give Props to Brunell

considering he had no running game he did well. I voted avg, but if I'd say he did good if I had thought about that simple fact...

Even though we did try to run the ball, its not like they really had to worry too much about us blowing them up on the ground, so they were preparing to see passes and they got them and we executed a few times...

for that he gets props this week. no question, but he's not above criticism by any means...

The funny thing is, not only did we win today, but we won against our arch rivals the Cowpukes...yet we still have people whinning like a bunch of cry babies. The team didn't play THAT good today...Brunell, Portis, OR the defense...but we won! Let's concentrate on the fact that WE FREAKIN' WON the ballgame.

It'd be nice to come on to this site every now and then and just feel good with some fellow fans. But I guess that's just not possible
