they want to use wallace as a WR more and they dont think he is that great of a QB. They rather have a vet and wallace as the WR. Make him more into a ARE kinda deal.

See this summary of their game last night from AP wires. Under 50% comp. & 2 picks, and that's against the scrubs! Ok, maybe his recievers dropped a lot, it is a rainy seattle tradition since Largent retired, but still these nos. are hard to justify in a preseason game.

SEAHAWKS 19, RAIDERS 14: Marquis Weeks ran 11 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to lift host Seattle. Seneca Wallace, playing into the fourth quarter while starting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck sat out his second complete game this preseason, was 12 for 26 for 181 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions.
Daunte Culpepper completed 11 of 19 passes for 108 yards and led visiting Oakland to its only touchdown.

Maybe Joe Gibbs wants to trade Mark Brunell for a Toyota?

ESPN - Source: Gibbs Racing to make switch to Toyota - Nascar

You wanted links, I got links, now I just need to quit and go back to work.

On another note. I bet Brunell stays in Washington. I just don't see Gibbs letting his boy toy go with out a decent 3rd string QB on the roster.

Fact of the matter is, if anyone is down to the third stringer they're in deep trouble.

However, I think the opportunity to let Brunell get out of here and possibly get Seattle to absorb some or most of his contract is a great window of opportunity for the Redskins. Let's face it, he's not here past next year anyway.

I cannot stand Chris Simms. I don't want his punk ass anywhere near Washington.

Do you remember that play (can't remember which game) when he took off for a run and then walked back on the field taunting us and waving his hand like, "come and get me sucker".

He hadn't been a starter long and he had the balls to taunt someone? Asshole!

That was the exact play I had in mind when I read your post.

Re: Rumor: Brunell heading to Seattle

I wonder....I wonder if we are trying to work a three way deal f involving Brunell.

You know, trade MB to the Seahags then get someone like Chris Simms in here to back up Collins and put Palmer on the PS. Thoughts?

I know there has been a lot of negative press on Chris Simms, and maybe he hasn't fully recovered from his spleen being carved out, but I think this kid has potential. Plus, wouldn't it be cool to piss his dad Phil off going to his former rival?

Chris Simms has a weak arm, and average accuracy. What makes you think he is good?
I'd rather take a chance on Palmer.

It's not that I think he's all that good, he's just a bit of known commodity that's all. He's probably more back up material anyway.
