Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions
WOW I didn’t realize my prediction post was such a big thing. I guess you guys just over look the Redskin fans on this site posting predictions of 42-6, 42-7- 42-0, 50-0, 42-10 etc. So don’t come at me a Cowboy fan with this BS.
saden1,GTripp0012,skinsfan_nn,warriorzpath,Sheriff Gonna Getcha you need to talk to your own warpathers who are Redskin fans before for you talk about my score prediction. Christ, you mean to tell me not one person on this godforsaken site didn't realize before the season start its going to be 16-0 for the Pats. It’s like there freaking destiny to go undefeated. I see only 2 teams right now that might be able to handle them, Colts and Steelers. Giants might if they can get to the QB but Eli will probably throw the game away. |

That's the difference. You posted a score on a Skins board that had the Skins getting beat by 39 points, a margin of victory greater than any Pats victory this year. What did you think was going to happen? BTW, the Pats play both the Steelers and Colts this year. It either is their destiny to go undefeated, or it isn't. It can't be their destiny to go 16-0, except 1/8 of the season when the team they are playing is good. That makes no sense.

Dumb huh, that is something that is uncalled for but that just shows me who you really are. What difference? Did you read your post before you posted it. My margin of victory is 39 while some Redskin fans margin of victroy for the Pats is 42, 50 etc. People are not being homers, those scores are in favor of the Pats and not the Skins. They are being real fans. A true fan of a game knows when its not gonna happen. |

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions
A true fan of THE game, maybe. But I think a true fan of a TEAM always has confidence and hope that their team will win.
I knew the Cowboys had no chance at defeating New England, simply because they have no defense. I am ABSOLUTELY certain you thought your team had a chance. So do we. A better chance, I might add, because we have a defense that's worth something.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions
FYI a true fan of the game does'nt come to someones house and act like an ass. 1) I think the Skins D backfield can handle Brady and the recievers ...I'm giving them 1 D touchdown 2) Skins special teams will come up big 3) don't underestimate field goals 4) The O just can't lose it and give the D time to rest! |

New score prediction only if you can control the game clock because the Pats are good at that.
Pats 31 Skins 14 |

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions
Anyone can beat anyone on any given sunday. Yes the Pats are good but Im not going to go and declare them the best team in history quite yet. When the season is over then you can say anything you want, but for the meantime in this league anyone can win. Noone in the media has given the Skins any chance at all and I think thats ridiculous. Only 1 team in NFL history has had a perfect season and that was the same year that the Pats had their only win versus the Skins. In todays league I don't see any team ever going 16-0 mainly because once weeks 15-17 roll around the team has their division and field advantage sewn up that they rest their starters and therefore losses usually don't matter.
The Skins definitely CAN win it just depends if they can limit turnovers and mistakes. If they don't beat themselves like they have in their 2 losses this season than they will win. Skins 28 Pats 24 Faith. |

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions
Ok. I was staring at my computer at the office today and just decided we need to skip this damn game. Realistically, you all know our D will spend the whole f'n game on the field, which means huge injury risks at a time when we're just getting healed up and we have a tough stretch ahead. Pats are AFC anyway, who the hell cares about this game! We need to be healthy to have a chance against NFC opponents, especially till Thomas gets back and we can reestablish the running game.
I already hate this f'n game. If we can get through w/o major injuries I'll consider it a win for us (I already predicted CP gets seriously injured in this game, and I still think it's going to happen). |

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions
Hey man, CP has been running gimpy (especially since the opener), he's holding the ball funky this season, and the hits to him just keep on coming. I mean I'm afraid he's gonna get seriously banged up, I'm not hoping for it.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions
OK, I played the game on Madden yesterday.
The Pats won 24-15. I NEVER lose on Madden. Is this a bad sign? Highlights: Campbell efficient except for late 4th-qtr INT, TD pass to Moss and one to Betts Skins running game shut down, but so was NE's except for one nice 15-20 yd run by Maroney Our D was tough all game, especially on 3rd and 4th down Brady to Stallworth for 67 yd TD was their only big offensive play Taylor cleaned Moss' clock several times. Randy had a slow day London Fletcher - stranied tricep in 1st quarter, missed rest of game, Blades filled in nicely. Game was 0-0 late in in the 2nd quarter. NE missed an earlier FG. Suisham nailed a FG to put us up 3-0 going into half, NE took back the next kickoff to take a 7-3 halftime lead. |
