Re: Sean Taylor has died...
I can't believe this. I really thought that he would pull through and that was all that mattered. Its so sad a 24 year old is leaving his 1 year old daughter behind. RIP. i know many prayers are with him and his family.

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
I am deeply saddend. Last time I felt this way was when Stevie Ray Vaughn died. What a complete waste. My heartfelt thanks to Sean for all the pleasure he gave to the Redskin Faithful. I will miss your presence.

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
I swear, reading the condolence messages from other teams' fans is turning me into a puddle right now. The support means so much to us.
The thing about Redskins fans is that we don't just cheer for this team, we feel like we are genuinely a part of the team. That whatever happens, we're all in it together. Losing Sean, feels like losing a family member. |

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
To all those who follow other teams, thanks so much for coming here to express your support. It REALLY means a lot. I don't think anyone outside of this forum understands how i feel right now. Our best player and a great man that I followed for years is gone and I haven't felt this way since 9/11. The shock and sadness that I am experiencing right now cannot be put into words. I am truly thankful that people such as yourself have been so caring, kind, and sympathetic.

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
I am just devastated. May God rest his soul.
I wish I didn't feel this way so soon after Sean's passing, but I want the thugs who did this to be caught, tried, and executed. |

I also hate to admit it, because no amount of my own selfish anger will ever change that he's gone, but I'm glad Florida still has the Death Penalty!

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
I was really hoping to meet you all under very different circumstances in a couple of weeks, when Chicago comes to D.C. (Dec. 6th).
We may be on opposing sides of the field on Sundays, but we are also, and more importantly...Brethren, connected by a common love of the same sport. Sean Taylor would have been a great asset to this sport, and he will be very missed by ALL. We are truly sorry for your pain, and our hearts and prayers go out to Sean's loved ones first and formost, and to the great franchise and it's awesome Fan Base, of the WASHINGTON REDSKINS. Know that we all, at DaBearz.com, wish to express our deepest condolences. R.I.P. Sean Taylor .

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
I'm in tears right now....I woke up and wept like a baby this morning. I couldn't believe it. Still can't....I'm in utter disbelief and shock....
I haven't felt this way about an athlete since Len Bias, also from the area, passed away when I was young. Sean, we love you man. We'll miss you. 12th |

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
Redskin Nation in the D.C. area is very sad today. Every newspaper and almost ever conversation on the train this morning was about Sean Taylor.
