So you think Zorn made all the decisions on who got cut huh?

You assume Zorn had final say. This is Cerrato's team now. We can blame him.

I'm kinda glad Wade is gone. The dude was constantly getting manhandled.

Re: Official Cut Day Discussion Thread

I'm surprised with the Tryon cut, but as bad as he did it would not have sat well with me that we cut our 4th round pick...I mean that's just wasting a pick. Ditto with the McMullen comments, we have got to be picking up a veteran wideout...maybe Caldwell? I hope we get a vet b/c the two rookies are not doing anything this year.

Any possibility that they might be using Wilson as a LB? or any of the DEs we have? I was curious about that. Also I'm glad Fincher made it. I hope he plays with the same enthusiasm he did during the Jax game.

Re: Official Cut Day Discussion Thread

If there are a couple of moves I make today, it's cut Tryon and sign Deltha O'Neal also, cut Rob Jackson and sign Jerome McDougle.

Jackson has showed some abillity to rush the passer. IMO he is a keeper. McDougle is a mess and who goes if we bring in O'Neal?

McDougle is an experienced veteran who had a great camp, Tryon get s the chopping block and O'Neal gets signed in his place. Then sign Jackson to the PS.

So you are saying that we did the right thing keeping him just because he was a 4th round pick? You can't be serious. IMO its better we cut him and use that spot on someone else than have him be a liability on Defense.

Re: Official Cut Day Discussion Thread

I said Richardson was the surprise cut simply because Tryon was GOD AWFUL in the preseason. Tryon's got no business being on our roster.

Mix is gone? Our season is over.

Glad to see Brooks is getting a chance, though.

Re: Official Cut Day Discussion Thread

I was just browsing the Skins' website and they have Horton as a 3rd string CB and they have Fincher and Betts wearing #46. All of this prob means nothing, but it was interesting to see both of these things.

Re: Official Cut Day Discussion Thread

Frost can kiss my ass!!!! He is lucky that he had a job in the NFL for one game let alone three seasons. That is all.

No it isn't. I think we are going to beat the Giants good on Thursday.

Re: Official Cut Day Discussion Thread

His name is Derrick "Inconsistency" Frost. He played well in the preseason but imo that was only because he felt he had to to keep his job. If thats what it takes for him to play at a high level then F him.

See ya.
