Irish I agree to disagree with your get a whole new team philosophy.

Anyway, another suggestion. Activate Fred Davis and put him in with Cooley, Moss and Thomas on 4 wideout sets. If the defense overloads one side wide receiver screen to the other side. The defense would audible when they see that, then you run the ball.

CP is acting like a god damn baby. Shut the hell up on your stupid ass radio show, hold on to the damn ball and do what the coach says. CP...your fumble was a big reason why we lost!!!!!! Everytime something goes wrong he goes around calling people out. He does it with the O-line and now he's doing it to Zorn. The guy is a baller, no one can question that, but I'm getting tired of CP. Is it me or is CP one of the most high maintenence guys in the NFL?

Well it's The John Thompson Show. CP comes on every week and on more than one occasion airs dirty laundry.

Re: Clinton Portis on the JT Show

More than anything this outburst from Portis signals a bigger problem, a lack of direct communication between player and coach, and for that you have to place the blame with Zorn. He's the coach, he's the supposed leader, he needs to fix this.

I agree. Zorn needs to handle it better. But Zorn and Stump didn't want him on the field cause he didn't practice. Deal with it. You're the player and Zorn is the coach. It's called authority CP! Quit crying like a damn baby and be a man about it. CP cries about pre season, he cries about the line, he cries about practice and now he's crying about being benched. Boo hoo hoo. CP needs to start acting like a man and not a bitch. Crying on your radio show does no one any good.

Re: Clinton Portis on the JT Show

I just don't get why he went to the media and said all of this. I mean he's all ready ragged on the O-Line before to the media.

Hopefully this is more of a distraction to us than the actual team.

Bottom line...Zorn doesnt have to explain anything to Portis, its his team....yes Portis is a beast but he needs to keep his trap shut.

So if your boss decided to demote you for a little while, you wouldn't wanna know why he thought you weren't good enough? Because from your logic, you should willingly just sit there and take it.

Yeah that makes no sense. There has to be open lines of communication in any business or sport, and when there isn't you get outbursts like this.

No, but there is ways about doing things...I wouldnt broadcast it and try to make my boss look dumb.....thats a total lack of respect...if you dont respect the person, you still should respect the position
