Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)
Well, I understand your rant, but the Redskins under Gibbs chose to build through trades and free agency. Now that Vinny is doing most of the decisions, that may change. Just look at how much progress has been made in two years. Not to bash Gibbs, but he just did not believe in youth, he believed in vets.

Gibbs' only concern was winning right now, so much so that he mortgaged the team's future to do it. A 2nd for Portis, a 3rd for Brunell, a 3rd and 4th for Duckett, a 3rd and a 4th for Lloyd ... |

Well anyway, let's not stray from the point of this thread or the discussion...who is an option for the team to pick up now that they've lost Randy Thomas?

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)
I would not call it blame, I am just pointing out why we did not have Linemen drafted. I look at Gibbs second stint as fairly successful. Two playoff appearances made me very happy, considering we had only been to one since he left.

Look, I love the guy for what he did, 1.0 and 2.0, but it's clear he wasn't concerned about building the team for the future. His one and only objective was to start winning the day he came in, and draft picks were his currency. |

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)
Being an impartial observer I must say that the Skins should have signed Leonard Davis when they had the chance.

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)
Ruhskins I must admit I was lost. But then Brother Jerry came to me and said "give me all your money and you to can be saved." I might be broke, humiliated, and miserable but I can assure you I've never been so happy in my life.

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)
I'm 100% positive they bring in Pete Kendell.. He already knows the offense for the most part. It's a given.. We can't rely on Montgomery for alteast another year imo

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)
I could see that. I would rather see Rinehart or Montgomery step up. If Rinehart isn't ready by now then he should be let go.
