unless Santana has actually tested positive for something, can he suffer any sort of punishment from the league? Yeah, i know this doctor could claim that santana did, but thats just hearsay.

I think you have to look at how Goodell has handled other cases in the past to predict if 'Tana (if it is him) gets punished. Roethlisberger just got suspended 6 games even though no charges were filed. So I think it's safe to say if he gets implicated in this we can expect punishment on him in some way.

true, but Rothlisberger didn't get any form of punishment until he had been accused of sexual assault - a far more serious crime - twice. i would say the average person is appauled when they hear about rape; however most people care alot less about a player allegedly taking a growth hormone to help recover from an injury. the two alleged offenses arent even in the same league. plus, the general media (not just espn, pft, etc) was all over the rothisberger cases. i doubt the possibility that tana took HGH results in more than a blip from major media outlets. i think santana would have to testify in court to taking HGH for the NFL to act. Either way, i can't imagine it being a particularly long suspension and he's not really a key player on our team, so i dont think it will really hurt us that much.

He can still be suspended for disgracing the shield. However right now with the way the NFL test for PED's you couldn't catch someone using HGH.

Chances are, and the way the NFL works, even if it is Santana he might not get suspended until next season. To the best of my knowledge, the affidavit didn't specifically name anyone. But Jeremy Jarmon tweeted about another big name player could involved in this too.

Ah..that is a bit of jaw dropper. So I'm just going to make a broad assumption not based on facts. Chances are the Commish is likely to be lenient on a guy like Brady, thus making it less likely that Tana would get a suspension too. Again, provided that the were both involved (I say involved, because no one has tested positive for anything) to the same extent.

#Redskins Phil Daniels :"There's no excuses. Every guy knows that you can't use that. HGH -- you know what that is."

#Redskins Phil Daniels: "I hope they just tear the papers up and let it go.Just go to him privately & do it that way. I don't want to know."

"I don't want to be that teammate & have to look at my partner & say 'Dawg, you've been doing that illegal, all this time?' @thatboyphil93

#Redskins Phil Daniels asked about 20 % / 10 guy per team average "It's probably more then that. Im pretty sure the temptation is there."

Re: HGH DR. linked to Redskins Player

I'm betting hard on Moss. If i'm not mistaken he missed 2 games around Oct. 07 because of a knee injury and him coming out and saying his knee was bothering for a few years just confirmed it. Hopefully he won't get suspended this yr.

I don't approve of these steriods (In a British accent), the NFL makes $$$$$$$$$$ so guys will always be trying to recover fast play better, to much money not to why you think MLB has the problem all their contracts are guaranteed. When the owners and player Players sit down they need to put a new drug testing in the contract.

Re: HGH DR. linked to Redskins Player

Little Johnny was in his Kindergarten class when the teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up - fireman, policeman, salesman.

Johnny was being uncharacteristically quiet, and so the teacher asked him about his father.

"My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men."

The teacher hurriedly sent the other children to work on some coloring and took little Johnny aside to ask him...

"Is that really true about your father working in a gay strip club?"

"No" said Johnny, "he really plays for the Dallas Cowboys but I was too embarrassed to say it."
