Re: Official The Killing Thread (Warning: Potential Spoilers)
Well, in an interview the showrunner says the killer won't be revealed until the final episode of season 2...so I don't think I'll be watching season 2

So...I didn't watch any of season 2. But we finally know who the killer is. One of us sort of called it

Re: Official The Killing Thread (Warning: Potential Spoilers)
It was a very good finale (season or series). The actress playing Rosie was actually really believable.
I think the "promise" of season 1's finale reveal really pissed viewers off (I'm probably one of four who didn't care haha). Putting that aside, the case was solved in 26 days- consider how high the case went, that ain't bad. The original Danish series was around 20 eps, iirc. AMC's break between the two seasons probably didn't help. Last edited by itvnetop; 06-18-2012 at 03:14 AM. |

While watching the show (and it's probably a reason why I never became upset with the Sud's direction) never really had Rosie's character in mind. Her death was the device that set up the rest of the series for me... the fallout investigation and the appropriate development of everyone involved- the family, the two investigators and the politicians. It wasn't until last night's episode that I finally saw why people were so crushed by her loss (beyond the traditional family ties). I think it was easier having seen Twin Peaks first... Laura Palmer's death triggers everything else. I can see why some viewers got tired of the Killing herrings, however. |

Re: Official The Killing Thread (Warning: Potential Spoilers)
So I didn't watch it at all this season and don't have any real desire to do so. They just lost me at the end last year.
I am curious as to who was the killer and why. Can somebody give me the whodunit and why in three lines or less? Send me a PM, don't do the reveal in the thread as someone may want to go back and actually watch it.
