Nice. I grew up Lanham, and lived close to Duval. Tough area, near Bowie. Growing up, our next door neighbors robbed us, drug deals on the block, friend saw someone shot in the parking lot, etc. But, honestly had fun growing up there. Good to see Lanham come out in TJ with the substance abuse charges last year, but I'm hoping he's cleaned up since then.

I always wonder why all these players sign with us when they know there's stiff competition for the job. Seems like if you're going to be the 4-6th safety, you would sign with another team to increase your chances. Same thing happened last two years with RB/WRs. Well, good for our front office, bad for the players. Good job Shanny for making this happen.

Jackson had rotator cuff surgery in January, expected to be OK by June.

However, his health isn't his main concern when it comes to staying on the field.

If he can behave himself, he's a great signing, especially with Raheem Morris coaching him.

This is the best Offseason the Redskins have had in the Dan Snyder Era. Getting so many low priced veteran fillers. Raheem Morris is a great DB coach. Qb of the future. Not signing the injury prone landry to a huge deal. Love it.

Jackson hasn't played well since his 2010 suspension, but I like the risk b/c there is actually reason to believe he can be the player we saw in 2009 (healthy, has played football recently). I've never thought Madieu Williams was a bad player necessarily, but he clearly has not been a starting caliber football player for two, maybe three seasons now.
