Read they searched his room and only found a Redskins Sweatshirt. Either kidnapping or he simply picked up and left.

That's pretty crappy they wouldn't even notify the coaching staff.

So ends the pointless career of Kentwan Balmer...

He's done it before to the 9ers. Hell, James Davis did the same thing to us last year too. We're 2 for 2 so far. Wonder how long the streak goes on for...

Who's they?

Not that it matters, sounds like Kentwan Balmer just gave up. Pretty shitty of him to not let his coaches know though.

They would be Balmer or his agent.

Maybe Petrino at U. of Arkansas will make room for him

Re: Washington Post: Redskins Training Camp Observations

If he hadn't pulled this stunt with the 49ers, I'd be concerned.

What a waste. He treats playing in the NFL like it's nothing.

You know what, if Kentwan Balmer leaving our team is our biggest problem, then we're in good shape. None of this Haynesworth crap, or McNabb not starting.

Or people speculating that Colt Brennan was going to be our quarterback of the future, i'm so glad we're past that.

Re: Washington Post: Redskins Training Camp Observations

Camp Confidential: Washington Redskins - NFC East Blog - ESPN

"Shanahan named defensive lineman Chris Baker as a player he thinks will surprise people. If that's true, the defensive line rotation looks formidable with Barry Cofield, Stephen Bowen, Adam Carriker and 2011 second-round pick Jarvis Jenkins, who missed his rookie year with a knee injury but is back and looking good."

Seeing his name again, looking forward to see what he does in the preseason games. I think Monkey mentioned it the other day and I agree, our front 7 has been built quite nicely.
