No team would give a 1st rounder for Orakpo, too worried about his health.

I'm a bit suprised that the D-line isn't able to get any pressure. You would imagine that Stephen Bowen, Colefield and Kerrigan are all above average, right?

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts

Just got to watch the game, and am thankful for DVR because that was excruciating and "regular speed" would have killed me lol. The Falcons played their worst three quarters of football in the last three seasons, and then finally started to look like themselves in the 4th quarter. Up to that point Ryan was totally off his game. But you knew he'd get his head straight at some point and we'd lose (regardless of RG3's injury).

Once again we we're soundly outcoached in all phases of the game. The league has completely got Kyle's number unless he puts the game in RG3's hands.

After five games there are three resounding facts that any honest, intelligent observer has to make:

1) This defense is garbage compared to the one Mike and Bruce inherited.

2) Our best downfield targets are guys Mike and Bruce inherited. As I've said since the end of last season, Fred Davis is our best target and Moss second, though the way Kyle and maybe RG3 as a consequence force the ball toward other WRs, namely Garcon, our best WR isn't getting much work. Garcon just isn't very good.

3) And most importantly, the Skins are still far and away the worst team in the division.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it has gotten almost ridiculous to come here (I won't even go in to ES) and read posts defending the Shanahans, or anything about the current regime. These guys (not the players) are losers, in every sense of the word.

We have RG3, but to save him we've got to get a real coaching staff and FO in place.

I like how you get all upset when "the Shanahan apologists, especially a mod" belittle someone's opinion yet you seem to have no issue saying that whoever disagrees with you is basically not intelligent

I didn't use the word dumb, or moron or any of the others I've seen from the Shanahan apologists. That said, I absolutely stand by the post, hands down, no questions.

Hadn't even read the thread when I posted but as I go back through it's pretty telling that no one else pointed out how bad the Falcons, particularly Ryan, were up to the 4th quarter. Ryan hasn't been that inaccurate since his rookie season.

Again, this is not a serious football team, because we don't have a serious coaching staff or front office, and that simply has everything to do with Mike Shanahan. His goofy kiddo makes it worse, but obviously Kyle wouldn't be here if Mike wasn't. Mike's the problem. We won't be a winning team until he's gone. But I won't stop being a fan because I know this to be true. That's not how it works.

I don't know how you come to your conclusions. Not a serious football team, goofy kiddo. I really don't get it. But whatever, it's your opinion.

Thumbs down Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts

Some of you guys are great sometimes. Honestly the D did fairly well at times today and gave the offense a chance to win. RG III could very well have won this game.

The defense now has three touchdowns this year. This team can win now if it would stay healthy.

Why are guys now saying Garçon sucks when after the Saints game he was the next big thing? Fellas this team is very young and will be adding more youth next year. When Shanny said this deal would take five years well.. It's going to take five years. Adding youth and developing the talent. Doesn't happen overnight.

I will say this one more time as it pertains to the Falcons they won against playing our fourth round rookie in crunch time.
Till then we had the game under control.

BTW Morris continues to impress the hell out of me, and Grant after he shakes off some rust will be a nice spell back for AM.

I don't recall anybody saying Garcon sucks. The only thing that I have said and others have said is that he didn't have a good game.

Yeah, read a few Garcon sucks comments a few pages back.. lol This guy is good.

If you were watching the game you would have seen there was alot that would lead you to believe that we could very well have won if RGIII wasn't lost.

I mean, I think we should just blow up the team. Game over man. Time to start over.
