Late For Work 7/18: Jaws Shocks By Ranking Joe Flacco Above Drew Brees
![]() Flacco over Brees? See this is the shit I'm talking about why I feel Jaws "lists" are so full of shit.

Re: ESPN Unveils 2013 Jaws’ QB Countdown List
Agreed. I think it's debatable who's better between eli and flacco, but including Drew Brees there's no comparison. Flaccos above average and deserves some big contract, but he's definitely not elite.

Re: ESPN Unveils 2013 Jaws’ QB Countdown List
If you flip flop Matt Ryan with Drew Brees, then Jaws and I would have the same top 5 QBs. But we don't and this is why I don't like Jaws (picking Flacco and Ryan before Brees).

Re: ESPN Unveils 2013 Jaws’ QB Countdown List
Which current QBs do you guys think are elite? I realize what is "elite" and whom is entirely subjective.
My list is (in no particular order inside category): ELITE: Peyton, Brady, Rodgers ELITE IF THEY KEEP GOING: Newton, RGIII, Kaep, RW, Luck. NOT QUITE ELITE: Big Ben, Brees, Rivers NOT ELITE BUT VERY GOOD: Flacco, Eli, Ryan, Romo, Cutler, Stafford, Dalton EVERYBODY ELSE |

Re: ESPN Unveils 2013 Jaws’ QB Countdown List
You want your "list" to be taken seriously and I understand opinions and such ,yet you say that 2 of the only 3 QB's playing in the NFL right now with more than one Super Bowl win are only good not "elite" .I realize you're a hater but really , the list is a joke. Rivers ahead of Eli is a joke in it's self but to have him with Brees and Big Ben it boarders on , well , drug testing.

Re: ESPN Unveils 2013 Jaws’ QB Countdown List
He also plays in a QB friendly system. No question, Brees is a great QB. I wonder if Flacco was in Peyton's offense would he put up similar numbers. Flacco can certainly make all the throws, and can perhaps makes some that Brees can't.

Re: ESPN Unveils 2013 Jaws’ QB Countdown List
I'm taking MattyK's words to heart that Brees is elite. IMO he makes better and quicker reads than Flacco. I guess one reason I discount Brees is I consider him truly benefiting from being a "dome QB". I think Brees gets more of a pass on that than Peyton and others in that regard, SMH.

Re: ESPN Unveils 2013 Jaws’ QB Countdown List
Breesus elevates the play of his teammates in a way that Flacco does not. And I like Flacco.
