Yep. Him and London need to go next year, they make our average team age a lot worse than what it is, and their age is really showing. Go young all over.

The problem is you can't really separate Kyle from Mike, mike from Kyle.

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread
Exactly. Right now I wish we had Norv as our OC. I know he didn't win jack with my namesake, but he did a lot offensively statwise with a 7th round QB from Tulsa, an over the hill RB (Allen) and some wheeze kids for WRs(Ellard and Sheppard).

^ Detroit lost to ARZ today. So they are not that great but it'll be hard to pick us at this point

Haha! Zing!
Guess we'll have to put the whole team on CJ. At least we're playing at home.

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread
Stafford doesn't scramble at all, he is a statue, a pure pocket passer. Nice blitz packages by Haslett will help against Megatron. Thing is you will have to double team Calvin, but still keep Burleson covered. Pettigrew still has dropititis for the most part so a LB can take him Rambo better learn how to tackle properly in 7 days as well.

Don't have to be super fast with Pettigrew. He usually does shorter routes. If we were talking about the Pettigrew of 2010-11, then yeah we would have a problem. He has gone down a notch in skill level it seems, until he gets his act together. He had a couple catches today, but also still has dumb drops. Megatron and Burleson are the ones that can burn us bad. |

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread
As far as defense is concerned, we just don't have good players. Counting the loss to Seattle, we've just been gashed. We can sit here and blame Haslett, and he'll take the fall eventually, but it's a talent issue. Fletcher is old and slow, Bowen is average to below average, Cofield is getting pushed around, the secondary cant cover, can't tackle and blow assignments. I don't think I've ever seen such a horrible secondary. Ever.
As far as the offense, RG3 needs a running game. If he doesn't have it, he's not good enough right now to carry the offense. And don't talk to me about his stats, very misleading. The line can't protect and none of them would start for a top team except Williams. Morris showed up today and ran hard, Reed looks like a keeper...but the wr's seemingly can only get open when the score is out of hand. Right now this entire team just sucks. |
