yeah it kinda seems as if RG3 doesn't want to run anymore

I think that was part of the "bye week controversy" last year, but can you blame him, look at how hammered he and Shanahan get when something bad happens. He has the talent to be a pocket passer, we just don't have a line designed for it.

I do think it's been a progression though and he moved a little more last week than the first, and I hope this week we see full speed rollouts, especially fakes off the pitches to Morris. I HATE the pitches to Morris but I could see Griffin rolling out and finding wide open receivers off of it too.

Sorry, but you have to worry about Fairley and Ziggy as well. Yeah, Suh is evil, but Fairley and Ziggy can just be as aggressive as Suh. That being said Mr. Griffin better get mobile as much as possible, being a pocket passer against the Detroit D line is dangerous for one's long term health.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread

I dont know if I've ever seen as many people pick the skins to lose,especially the thread starter,and Mattyk too!
As I stated on another thread{that nobody responded to}I watched the 30 minute rewind of Dallas Kc and looking at their defense{both teams}and ours its like night and day.Dallas pass rush looked ferocious and they were so close to sacking the qb numerous times but didnt because Smith was mostly using 3 step drops.
My point on bringing up the Dallas game is kc was beating the pass rush by using the 3 step drop,we need to do the same thing since teams are blitzing us so much.If not that,some designed rollouts to buy some time{remember how Gibbs used to have Joey T do those big designed rollouts?}
The defense is not going to improve that much in one game,but if the offense can get us some damn points in the first half then hopefully the defense can at least keep the yards gained against below an historical level that were on pace for
I dont know how to pick this game,my eyes tell me were so bad that this is gonna be another long afternoon.If we need fg's whos kicking in this game? Is Kai back?And why the hell did we sign a kicker thats never kicked a frickin fg anyway? I cant believe he was the best option out there
Guess I've talked myself into picking Detroit

I didn't pick the Skins to lose, I didn't even make a prediction.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread

I've seen zero difference in Alfmo game from last year. He looks perfectly fine and has run well. Now RG3 and the Oline, I've seen substantial differences in both their performances so far.

Any word on Bush's injury status. I know he held out of practice yesterday, but is everybody assuming he will play?

He's 50/50 last I saw.

Given how bad our D has been they should probably sit him.

i'm assuming they juice him up before kickoff

Lions RB Reggie Bush is optimistic about playing Sunday, but he still hasn't been cleared by team doctors. SportingNewsMichigan.com: Michigan Sports News, all on one page
