Nice!! I was at the game when they dedicated that statue to TL(a skins loss). I looked over my left shoulder and Bob Lilly was standing there at one of the tunnel entrances. Fans walking right by him didn't even know who he was.
I asked a couple of stooges around me if they knew who that was and they were dumbfounded. A bunch of Cowboy greats came out of each tunnel around the stadium right before halftime.

The first preseason game of 2014 is getting closer and closer... may the Giants lose the first preseason game of what will hopefully be a season full of G-men pain and shame. (Note the lack of humor-indicating smilies.)

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

I see this every time a big deal is reached and it seems that people look at it as how much they would pay for a particular player if virtually every QB was available on the open market. However you have to consider how difficult it is not only to find a QB but the fact that you've taken X amount of time to at the very least develop him within your organization. Dalton with 3 years of experience in the Bengals offense is more valuable then Dalton in year 1 with another team.

And even if a player is a product of a system how easy is it for your organization to find a comparable fit?

Yup. If you have a QB you can win with on a regular basis (Flacco, Dalton, Romo), you pay premium dollar to hold onto them. Flawed as they may be, it's either them or a journeyman or untested rookie. Not like the Bengals could say, ehh, let him walk, we will just sign Aaron Rodgers instead.

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

I thought Manuel was ok as a rook, certainly not bust territory yet. Can't tell much from two series last night in a glorified scrimmage.
