Pretty sure he's said we could go OT and that Reiff and Martin would seem to be the guys. I think it depends how we approach the OL in FA

I still can't shake the feeling that taking a chance on a guy that has been a backup for another team could end up like Kolb in Arizona or Cassell in Kansas City. For what those teams gave up I don't think they have been producing near enough to justify it. We have so many holes to fill it seems like that 3rd round draft pick could be put to better use IMO.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

Personally I'm warming up to the idea of PM "IF" thats what the team wants to do, but they need to have a plan "B" in place. PM's doctor said he's healthy enough to play which means he's healed and can take a hit, but his numbness in his arm is going to cause some problems. I think I read his doctor saying something like he should get the feeling back around March/April which if we take him gives a little time prior to the draft to see if he's getting better. However if he's in the same situation he is in now then I can't see any other option other then to draft a QB either at #6 or try to trade back to late 1st round and still get a QB.

WR is another issue. Hopefully we can pick up atleast 1 FA and then draft another to compliment Hankerson and give whoever we have as QB some weapons.

and at this point I'd take either RT or FS then CB.

At least Cassell played a whole season in NE, so I don't fault them for going after them. Also, Cassell had an okay year last season, things just fell apart for the Chiefs in general this season. But it is hard to overlook at the Kolb situation and be comfortable going after a back that has seen very limited action.

Of course I'm refering to the current front office, GM, HC.

Hey Smoot -

Have you heard anything about trading in to the #2 spot (Rams) with our 6th, 39th, 70th this year and 1st in 2013?

How about anything where Rams are trying to pit Browns and Skins against each other by blowing smoke about taking RGiii and trading Bradford?

Think I'd be ticked if we move up for that cost of picks.

So why does it say anything about Bradford if people who never drafted him in the first place would rather trade him for a bunch of picks and draft their own guy? Maybe the Redskins make them an offer they can't refuse. The current Rams front office is not emotionally invested in Bradford...at this point he's just another asset to them. I just don't think it's necessarily a negative on Bradford if they decide to trade him.

That plan better include Peyton Manning because I aint about to spend my time and money driving to Landover to watch Nick Foles start for the 2012 Redskins...

No specifics really

We should start hearing a lot more over the next several weeks

No team in any situation trades a QB they consider to be franchise caliber.
And if they draft RGIII and attempt to trade Bradford (i don't think they will) it says that the new staff doesn't view Bradford as a franchise caliber QB.
And if they don't view him as a franchise caliber QB they can't turn around and expect premium compensation for him.

If they draft RGIII its certainly a negative on his value.
To be clear I still think Bradford is a franchise caliber QB and I don't think they'll draft RGIII and try to trade Bradford.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

After watching Eli and Brady last night I want a franchise QB. If Peyton is healthy and a free agent, Skins should get him.

Or maybe Hoyer becomes another Matt Hasselbeck

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

If we give up a 3rd rounder for Hoyer, I'm going to drop kick a mofo. Hell no.....lol What's the difference between Hoyer and Beck? Dude had a good pre-season so now he's the new Pineapple Jesus.
