If it doesn't make a difference then why the flying F is there a rule about it, and why does the NFL go to the lengths to have the head ref test the ball pressure 2 hours before the game and then keep the balls under the watchful eye of an official until minutes before kickoff? Seriously your critical thinking skills are impaired.

I'm not going to get into name calling with you Schneed. Kind of immature thing to do. You seem like the kind of guy that thinks he's the smartest person in the room. We'll agree to disagree. |

Yeah. What Schneed said. Seriously, for everyone saying it's no big deal, it the same reason they pay guys to make sure players tuck in their shirts and fine players for tiny uniform infractions.
It's a brand. Brands don't get eroded by big violations but rather by small infractions which undermine the brand's uniformity and integrity. Plus. Brady is rat ass liar. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

Aaron Rodgers Likes To Tamper With Footballs, Too
Suspend him too I guess. It would be the only way to preserve the integrity of the game. I'm not for Brady's suspension but I really wish we didn't face him or Hardy this year. The league probably consulted Jerrah about the length of each suspension while on the Cowboys' party bus. |

Manipulating balls:
NFL aware of game ball incident during Vikings-Panthers - Minnesota Vikings Blog - ESPN Ended in a phone call saying knock it off. Blandino said he would remind the teams the next week not to violate the rules again! The integrity of the league I say! Too funny. |

Re: All things off season 2015.
I think there is a big difference between the league warning two teams about heating up balls during a cold game and having a repeat offender team's QB and equipment personnel deliberately altering football to gain some type of competitive advantage.

Re: All things off season 2015.
Brady isn't a victim. He broke a rule. He should be punished. 4 games is crazy. I just disagree with the harshness of the punishment.
Vontaze Burfict fined for twisting ankles of Cam Newton, Greg Olsen - SBNation.com This is a much worse rules violations that actually affects the competitiveness of the games it occurred in. Trying to break a guy's ankle after the play occurred on the field so it isn't as important a rule as deflating balls 1.2 psi off the field. I'm not saying you're a bad person for getting up in arms about deflating balls 1.2psi. I just don't think it is a big deal. Why would someone have to turn Rodgers in since he admitted breaking the same rule? |

Add that to all the retired QBs that claim that there was frequent ball manipulating and its bullshit that the Patriots got hammered for it. They should let the teams decide what the PSI is, it will put more points on the board. Let the QBs play.....
