Yeah I agree. I don't hate Shannahan or anything. Its just Skins being Skins. He was between a rock and a hard place. His chances of success were severely limited. But I don't think he helped his own cause either.

I don’t think Shannahan wanted RG3, which is why he took Cousins in the same draft 3 rounds later, and then proceeded to tell everyone how special Cousins is over the years while never having anything nice to say of RG3.

Should be interesting to see what happens if we ever end up with another superstar the way RGIII was in 2012. Will Snyder learn his lesson and let the head coach do his job or will he empower that player to the point where he’s basically running the show.

RGIII was a diva before he came here. He was a diva here. He continued to be a diva for years after he left. Snyder may have enabled RGIII, but he only has himself to blame for how he acted. Shanahan was a Super Bowl winning coach and Griffin was an arrogant young Diva who should have done what his coach said and focused on improving his game.
