Will the Redskins Make the Playoffs

Yes and Dallas beat NY, and the Giants winning streak is against all the same crappy teams that Dallas faced too. Except Washington.

I'm guessing Schneed was also picking the Bills to win SB XXVI (hey...numbers from Vegas don't lie!) and turned the game off after Denver went up 10-0 in SB XXII.

Let's not even bring up our 6-0 run at the end of 2005. It's years like 2005 that prove my point of it paying off to stay behind your team when standings and everyone in the world has said they're dead. The celebration at the end is so much sweeter when you're not a fairweather fan.

Yes, just make sure that we beat division opponents. also our OL should be healthy again in the coming months

I say no. While Gibbs first run was exceptional with innovative play calling and, more importantly, halftime adjustments, I just have no faith in his abilities this time around. We all got caught up when the man returned, but now its different. He has a HUGE coaching staff, that is highly overpaid. He no longer makes the halftime adjustments, rather we go into turtle mode when we have a lead. His clock management has been dreadful. I will watch every snap of every game, and I'll scream my head off, but I no longer have faith in Joe Gibbs, and believe me it hurts to say that.

The Redskins are 4-3. They have five eminently winnable games ahead of them on the schedule: Jets, Eagles, Bills, Bears, Vikes. If they take care of business against teams they ought to beat, that gives them 9 wins.

If they beat Tampa Bay - on the road against a good defense and an "efficient offense" that's not a given - that gives them 10 wins right there. And 10 wins definitely gets it done in the NFC.

What they have to do is to avoid throwing in any clunkers in against those teams they should beat...

If you chart us to lose twice to the Cowboys and once the the Giants, is ten wins going to get it done? What if Arizona takes the west and then Seattle wins ten games?

Actually, we'd hold the tiebreaker.

I stand corrected of my own logic, ten wins would get it done. As far as taking the WC goes, those victories over Arizona and Detroit were huge.

I don't think we are going to beat the Jets, because I don't think this team is healthy enough just yet, and I don't think we are going to beat the Vikings. However, I do see us beating the Giants, and taking care of Dallas at home on the seasons final week.

Same ten wins, but we should finish tied with or ahead of the Giants, who still have New England, Dallas, and Philadelphia on their schedule.

Doesn't matter we won't get to the big dance or even less win it. How can we deserve playoffs when we are only the 3rd best team in our division? I know it is the NFC East, but c'mon we are playing like horse manure out there. We just very well might get swept by the Cowboys and Gmen this season and probably will sweep the Eagles thank God. If we do make the playoffs playing at the current level, all it will mean is that the product the NFL is putting out there is rather mediocre.

Whether you are 1st or 3rd in the division doesn't matter when it comes to determining wild cards. All it says is the NFC East is a competitive division.

If we keep playing at this level I don't think we'll have to worry about the playoffs.

Because being the 3rd or 4th best team right now, does not mean we are destined to be at the end of the year.

Especially since the margin between the teams is so close.
