They could have signed Hall so they could cut Springs and his $6 million and free up some space for a Haynesworth transaction.

I'd really like if the Haynesworth rumors were all smoke and mirrors while we went after the key free agents that can help build our lines. I'd have to tip my hat to management if that were the case.

Do you mean just Redskins or the whole league...if so here are the signings:

- Hall re-sign
- JJ Arrington/Buckhalter picked up by Denver
- Fred Taylor probably going to the Pats

Easy Dirtbag, we're not there yet.

Heres what JLC just posted

"Also, they remain interest in Albert Haynesworth, though finding the cap space for that will be very tricky."

So maybe Skinny Tee is onto something.

I don't think Hayesworth can live up to the hype no mater who signs him, how can this not be a bust?

He's being offered 30-40 million in guarantees. Amazing. Or stupid.

That doesn't look like a signing exactly... but if he does sign tonight i hope Vinny stayed up late enough to hand Dock the pen.

Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings

monster signings for guys switching teams tend to be flames out (champ, arch, lloyd, kearse, berry, etc etc etc).

we'll see though.

TJ Housh just mentioned on ESPN (TV folks, no link) that some of the teams he would like to go to are Philly, Giants, and the Vikes.

Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings

So with all these teams willing to over pay, it seems like most teams are expecting for an up capped year in 2010.

I heard that. I don't get what he's so nervous about. He's good someone will sign him.

Hey bro, w/ Rogers and Hall we don't have to worry about TJ in Philly or NY, especially if NY doesn't resign Ward and Philly doesn't get a great RB to complement Westbrook. I see the NFC East much more evenly matched than last couple of years.
