Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster
You're right and wrong. I listed FB twice so technically I listed 53 different names but at the same time I wrote down 55 names. Anyway I fixed it. I should have known that even I wasn't dumb enough to forget FB, but I thought I did so thats why I listed it twice.

Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster
Alright now that I've seen a couple games I'm gonna try and make my mark.
QB: Campbell, Collins, Brennan (PS - Daniel) RB: Portis, Betts, Cartwright (PS - Dorsey, Mason if eligible) FB: Sellers WR: Moss, Randle El, Thomas, Kelly, Mitchell TE: Cooley, Davis, Yoder T: Samuels, Heyer, Bridges, Clark (no reason for Clark other than we gotta have depth, same reason as Montgomery) G: Dockery, Thomas, Rinehart C: Rabach, Albright, Montgomery (not much reason to justify adding Montgomery other than we have to have depth, I can't say I've seen his play stand out or look bad) DE: Daniels, Carter, Jarmon, Alexander, Dixon DT: Haynesworth, Griffin, Montgomery, Golston OLB: Orakpo, McIntosh, Wilson, Thomas MLB: Fletcher, Blades, Henson CB: Rogers, Hall, Smoot, Tryon, Barnes FS: Landry, Moore (PS - Holmes) SS: Horton, Doughty K: Suisham P: Smith And we leave an empty spot open. |

Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster
QB - Jason Campbell, Todd Collins, Chase Daniels
RB - Clinton Portis, Ladell Betts, Rock Cartwright, Dominic Dorsey FB - Mike Sellers WR - Santana Moss, Antwaan Randle-El, Malcolm Kelly, Devin Thomas, Marko Mitchell TE - Chris Cooley, Fred Davis, Todd Yoder LT - Chris Samuals LG - Derrick Dockery, Chad Rhinehart C - Casey Rabach RG - Randy Thomas RT - Stephon Heyer, Jeremy Bridges DT - Albert Haynesworth, Cornelius Griffin, Anthony Montgomery, Kedric Golston, Lorenzo Alexander DE - Andre Carter, Phillip Daniels, Jeremy Jarmon, Renaldo Wynn OLB - Rocky McIntosh, Brian Orakpo, Robert Thomas, Chris Wilson MLB - London Fletcher, H.B. Blades CB - Carlos Rogers, DeAngelo Hall, Fred Smoot, Kevin Barnes FS - Laron Landry, Kareem Moore SS - Chris Horton, Reed Doughty K - Dave Rayner P - Hunter Smith LS - Ethan Albright that's only 49... probably want to keep 2 more OL, another CB (westbrook?) and best available... could keep 4 QBs active if you wanted, but that seems silly. PS - Colt, Lenny Holmes, some other guys |

Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster
I agree Dirtbag. I've thought so for awhile but it becomes even more important if we go to an 18 game season.

Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster
Well, I had Fincher making the team, and he was cut, so we'll have to slip Cody Glenn in there.
They could conceivably fit Mike Williams in instead of Edwin Williams, but I'm not seeing the benefit. What's the point of keeping the fallen prospect on the roster for development purposes instead of the actual prospect.
