Re: Redskins Send 5th Rounder to Rams for Carriker and a 5th (Swap 7ths)
Still, the Bradford Boners are going to come up with ridiculous stuff between now and then draft...until we make our move. I'm still waiting for the "We can still get Bradford" thread after the Rams pick him up.

The roster is jacked up right now, especially the front seven.

Hell yeah!!!! I wanted this guy back in 2007. Hard worker that won't be under pressure to put up huge sack numbers in our 3-4.

So right now the Redskins draft looks like this: 1st - Okung or Williams 2nd - McNabb 3rd - Jarmon 4th - QB Prospect 5th - Adam Cariker 7th - Your guess is as good as mine. Most people however see this 1st - Okung or Williams 4th - QB Prospect 7th - Your guess is as good as mine.

"Jacked up" in a good or a bad way?

Ok then...
1st - Okung or Williams 2nd - McNabb 3rd - Jarmon 4th - QB Prospect a.k.a. Colt Brennan's replacement 5th - Adam Cariker 5th - A LB? 7th - The next Chris Horton

I just hung up with Vinnie. He tells me this deal will never fly. We'll need to toss in a first and third this year and a contingent 2nd for the next three years if he shows to voluntary mini-camps.
Oh yeah....and redo his contract with say.......50m or so guaranteed.......VINNIE......

The best part about this deal is that Haslett coached Carriker and believes he has some talent. Otherwise they wouldn't have done the deal.

Combination of not wanting him and getting a chance to move up in the 5th round?

But to your point.... Haslett was handed the 4th ranked defense. He has a hell of a lot of toys one defense. If anyone is owed anything it's the OL coach....and maybe the WR coach....T.O. lol. JK. |
