Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
I think we should have kept both and cut Westbrook.

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
had the pick in the endzone during the Arizona Cardinals game.
He was also one of the top 5 players ready to step up in 2010 per ESPN. not that it means much obviously. I guess ESPN saw more in Tryon than Haslett did.

Nothing on Rookie Safety Anderson Russell yet. Hmm wonder if he has a chance to make it.

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
lol.... how about Jarmon? Gone yet...
So I am still a little shocked that Banks is still on the team after all of his fumbling issues. One thing the fumbles did for him in the preseason, is put a HUGE I can't hold on to the ball sign on his back.

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
They must have a special plan for him, I would have kept Austin.

Cook and Capers did not surprise me at all. Maybe to the PS for both, but I am not sure.

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Im awestruck that B. Banks made it over T. Austin....... Only explanation is that "Scout Team Wildcat" that Shanahan said they were running in preparation for the Buffalo Bills is less scout team and more an actual package they have considered. I want a threat too on punt returns but so far he's only threatened to turn the ball over each time he touches it.

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Banks is a shocker IMO .. those fumbles were bad .. that being sad I like the move .. why not give this guy a shot he's such a speed burner .. be nice to have a few pR / kR for touchdowns and not risk injury to Santana...
congrats to big Will Montgomery #63 for making the team .. went to high school with this guy and one of my best men is best friends with this guy .. super nice dude who hooks us up with player lot parking and all kinds of fun stuff ... HTTR !

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
He won't be used in any wildcat. He has never thrown a pass in his life.
His words after training camp practice in which he played the QB in the wildcat.

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
I think the coaches and players are excited with Banks' as a return man. If he's kept, it's a clear sign that they're prepared to deal with his ball security issues.
