Re: Victory Monday

Hahaha. My buddy, who is a huge giants fan, once compared Eli to the youngest brother of a family of bakers. The father was a neighborhood legend, the oldest son was the second coming and the youngest wanted to do be a dancer or some such nonsense. I think that is based largely on the Eli face where it looks like he would rather be pirouetting in a Tutu!

Re: Victory Monday

Lets dont be so rough on Eli, he's torched the Cowboys way more that the skins have, so i kinda have to give Eli a pass on bashing him.

ehh i think there is a lot other QBs id rather see catch gonorrehea & rot in hell. Vick comes to mind, but didnt he get the clap or something, what was that whole Ron Mexico thing a long time a go??? Jeff George immediatly came to mind and also falls into that catoagory if he was still around. Eli just really dont cause me to sling any wrath his way.

It's not relevant but it's a developing story worth noting.

Very poor attempt at a thread derail, saden, and a month old:

How many species still remain undiscovered.

Vertebrate Animals

Reptiles 1,300
Amphibians 8,500
Fishes 8,000
Total Vertebrates 17,800

Invertebrate Animals

Insects 4,000,000
Arachnids 500,000
Molluscs 115,000
Crustaceans 103,000
Echinoderms 7,000
Others 700,000
Total Invertebrates 5,425,000

Plants

Flowering plants (angiosperms) 71,000
Ferns and horsetails 15,000
Mosses & Liverworts 6,500
Total Plants 80,500

TOTAL SPECIES 5,523,300

Given that scientists estimate we've only 'found' 1/4 of all living things it's hardly a shock that a monkey's turned up.

And now back to 'Victory Monkey'....damn it!

He sucked up until a month before that Super Bowl and has been on a decline since.

156 TDs and 114 INTs with 60 fumbles in 7 years is not good. 58% career passer.

He gets elevated because of his last name and the big media market he plays in.

His stats are comparable to Boomer Esiason at this point. Both have a similar 57-58% completion rate and their TD:INT ratio is identical (I did the math). Both are locks for 15-20 INTs a year but Boomer never had 25 like Eli did last year, even on the Bengals, Jets or Cardinals.

No one would call Boomer a top QB. Good, yes...not great. Eli gets hyped like he's one of the top in the league.

Maybe but I have a question for you,how many starting QB's have the Skins had in Eli's 7 years? When he sucks ...he stinks but when he's good he's very good .Like the Super bowl run or not he did it , and he won it, and he was the MVP of it,alot of "good" QB's can't say it.....alot of great QB's can't say it.

You know what I think is funny? You said that not having OTA's/offseason hurt Eli and his WRs. Well, there have never been that many passing yards in a single week in NFL history. Didn't hurt anyone else. LOL.
