He might have been better than Ren and Stempy trying to cover Cruz with the game on the line.

I knew he'd be back no earlier than Pitt and that was questionable at best so I suspected they would just sit him until after the bye bc why bring him back for one non-divisional game

I am sure we'll find out today if he passes the physical or not.

He's not in football shape that's for sure.

It's not like he's going to be starting next week, so he will have time to get worked back into the mix.

I'm really bummed about Davis. He was having a nice season, not just catching the ball but his all around game was really improved. There's no way he can be replaced as far as what we did with him scheme wise. Other guys really need to step it up.

Paulsen sure did a good job in stepping up after Davis went out.

He did, no doubt. He's solid and probably a bit underrated as a receiver. But he's clearly not in the same class as Davis after the catch.

I really feel bad for Davis. He's on a one year deal and has a major injury, that just sucks.

I'm sad to see Davis go down just when he is finally acting like a professional. From an organizational standpoint, this buys the FO another year to postpone opening the bank for Davis. I don't see other teams offering him a huge multi-year deal coming off a torn Achilles.

Re: Fred Davis Done for Season. Welcome Back Cooley

This team is like Michael Jordan with the Bulls in the mid-80's BEFORE they started winning Championships. We have the most exciting player in the league, but no one around him that can help him win games. Remember when Jordan use to score 60 but the Bulls would still lose? That's the 2012 Redskins. They score the go ahead TD with 1:30 or so left and still find a way to lose. The Redskins Defense is Worse than terrible! There are just no playmakers on either side of the ball to help RGIII win games, except Santana. I know they had 4 turnovers, but they could have still won if this team had any defense at all. Very Frustrating Monday.
