Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread
Excellent win by the Redskins tonight. We should be proud of these players. Garcon is the truth! RG3 is second to none playing QB in the NFL. Rob Jackson's sack of Manning came at a great time. Joshua Morgan's fumble recovery-run for a TD. So many great plays made in this game. HTTR!!!

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread
What a great game to see live. Great atmosphere despite the fact that there were a decent amount of Giants fans in attendance.
1000th post!

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread
Well, I was hoping for a smash mouth game where we run right at them (instead of 100 passes between the two QBs) and I got my wish.
Huge points for Alfred Morris for shaking off the fumble and racking up great yardage. His last first down was pure effort -- he simply wanted it more than the defenders. In would say that about a lot of our guys tonight -- they played with heart. A couple of guys were just outstanding -- C. Griffin, D. Young, and P. Riley all had very stout games; best of the season for them as far as I am concerned. Whatever happens the rest of the season, I can say right now (and could have said a week ago too, I suppose) that I have had more fun watching our team this year than any other since the first Gibbs era. Hail, baby! |

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread
Couple things were key for me in the game:
1. The defense didnt "break." We held strong around our 30 the entire game, which was huge. Giving up the 3 instead of the 6 points was the difference maker. 2. Big games by Josh Wilson and C Griff. Hall got beat a couple times but still managed to play ok. 3. RG3 gets the headlines, but Alfmo, outside the fumble, was amazing last night. 4. What if Garcon woulda been healthy all year? Jeez he is so important to our passing strategy. 5. Oline, Run Blocking > Pass Blocking, and it worked out last night. Watching Kory L sometimes scares me though... HTTR

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread
Great win. I don't think I sat down much - at least not still.
Hard nosed, tough NFC East battle and we came out on top at home as we should have. Tough road ahead still, so here's to the coaches and team leaders helping everyone keep their eye on the prize...the past is the past...still business to take care of...First up - RaVeNs |

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread
my favorite play last night was the RG3 run on 3rd and 1 where the dude barely got the back of his jersey to drag him down after like a 40 yard run. That was amazing

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread
Wasn't the play fake on that just sick? JPP collapsed on Morris like a cheap tent in a hurricane.
