Whisenhunt would be a good choice I think. The Cardinals never had been a good franchise, he did a solid job with them I think.

I can't understand why anyone would support Caldwell. Completely emotionless, devoid of any real leadership qualities. He was terrible as Wake Forest HC, and awful in Indy when Peyton wasn't leading the team.
This list is really underwhelming. I guess I'd go with Bevell for lack of decent candidates otherwise. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk |

The media is still telling us that nobody wants this job, yet we have a line of candidates that stretches out the door and around the block.

Sounds like Cowher is out: Bill Cowher: 'Highly unlikely' I'll coach in near future - NFL.com
Really too bad -- I would have loved to see this. You know he would get our D playing better ball, and he's a serious motivator. Would have all kinds of cred with players and likely be able to get very strong assistants. Sigh. |

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?
It's all academic if he wants to stay in broadcasting, but do you really think Cowher wouldn't be hungry to build a winner? The guy is as intense as they come. Don't you think he would want to be successful where Shottenheimer, Shannahan (and even to a degree, Gibbs II) were not? No way he comes here (or anywhere) to collect a paycheck. I don't think that's the right measure of the man. Again, all academic, it would appear.

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?
Mike Munchak meeting with Tennessee Titans CEO - NFL.com
For the Gregg Williams fans: One huge, pressing question left for Munchak: Will he listen to suggestions about staff changes? The status of Gregg Williams is one of the big issues. Internally, there is some belief that Williams, not Jerry Gray, should be defensive coordinator. Williams could earn a promotion. The staff has been kept in the dark about their status.

And watching his clock management and lack of awareness at times makes me wanna punch him in the throat. Plus, he eats grass.
