Re: Giants Game Negatives

it is still early into the season.

we have some good football ahead of us.

new coach, injuries, short week after a brutal game physically and mentally, bad DC .... we are going to have more bad games than good games.

I am sorry but he has gotten a pass for awhile but there has been one consent in all this losing over the years.

IF Synder sold the team I would not be sad.

I would be fine if he upped and moved the franchise to L.A. and we got a whole new team.

I have had a Skins magnet on the back of my car for years. I actually took it off today before leaving for work. Living up here in giant/eagle land and im embarrased! The Snyder regime has finally stripped me of any pride i had left from what i watched this team do oh so long ago.

in contrast, my orioles bird car magnet lasted about a week before someone stole it.

but now is the time to waive your skins flag high. now is the time to stick with the team. 2-3 years from now we can look back and say this was a moment of truth - are you a skins fan or are fairweather. i know we have sucked a long time. we have sucked in some many different ways. anyone who has stuck around this long cant be called a fairweather fan but this is when we double down.

if we cant beat the seahawks, lets hurt them. lets punch them in their mother fuking mouths.

Nobody would steal a skins magnet up here. Lol. I was never worried for a second. Ill never not root for this team btw - just feels more hopeless than any point since 1991.
I know there have been times the team was maybe worse, but 2012 gave me such hope and now to feel like we are just a wreck again...well...i cant seem to pull my self out of this one.

They are like an old dog. You have known for a while they are sick, but you love them so much that you ignore it. You keep hoping they will miraculously get better. You think about how when that dog was young - how good it was - how it ran faster and jumped higher and played harder than any other dog in the neighborhood, but now it has to be put down. So sad.

I equate being a Redskin fan to being a battered wife... No matter the amount of abuse you take, you keep coming back... I deserve to feel this way, I keep coming back, no matter what...

Man, equating being a Redskins fan with domestic abuse. That is, wow... and to do it right after the whole Ray Rice incident. Man... that takes, something... brains isn't the word

But you still support and watch the NFL which has turned a blind eye to domestic assault for what, going on 100 years? And has only done anything about a few weeks ago due to public pressure? But yet my benign and meaningless internet comment was offensive to you? Something about glass houses and stones comes to mind...

Who said I was offended? It's funny when people say stupid things. That 'benign and meaningless' internet comment was a dumb thing to say. However, to say it now when people are particularly sensitive to this social ill. Something about thinking before speaking comes to mind.

Oh and I wonder if you see the irony in getting up in arms about internet comments where people supposedly get up in arms at your internet comments.
